Absolutely perfect cottage for our stay while attending the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Julie is an amazing host, very friendly and very quick to respond to any questions and offer recommendations. She even knew to wish us (American travelers) a happy July 4th, which was extremely thoughtful. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we could need. Her garden is just lovely and looks out over rolling hills dotted with little sheep. A truly idyllic landscape. We were absolutely delighted with our stay. A definite 5 star experience.

The cottage was everything that was promised, and more. We enjoyed tea, or a glass if wine, at the garden table overlooking spectacular countryside, with only the bleating of lambs and the chirping of birds to break the silence. Julie is a wonderful host, and very responsive to questions. We look forward to returning in the future.

Host was gracious and available. We had all the comforts of home at the same time as living in a luxurious house with glorious gardens and views. We were working in Northampton during the day and retreating to East Haddon in the evenings. We extended our stay because we loved being here so much! We will be back!

Lovely cottage with everything included. Clean, comfortable and well stocked with comprehensive supplies and luxurious welcome pack. Good WiFi and pub just round the corner.

Beautifully decorated, everything we needed was available, nice welcome basket, large and quiet garden, pretty area with nice walks, very kind owner; we would love to come back again and we can really recommend it!

Everything about the stay was fantastic. Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The photos on the website looked lovely but if anything the reality is even better. Everything you could possibly need is provided and the garden is a beautiful, peaceful place to sit and relax. If you're looking for a top quality cottage in Northamptonshire, book this one, you won't regret it. If we return to the area I would book Bay Tree Cottage again without hesitation.

We absolutely loved Julie’s house. We’ve stayed in a lot of private holiday rentals and are often disappointed, but not this time. The house is beautiful and furnished so tastefully. It was immaculate, and everything we needed had been thought of - everything from washing up liquid to bbq supplies, salt, pepper, coffee, cling film - and of course the welcome basket including a much appreciated bottle of wine. We really couldn’t fault it. We enjoyed the garden and the peaceful view of the farmland - we’re just sorry we couldn’t stay longer!
