We stayed for a golf tournament at Sanctuary. It is very convenient to the course and was perfect for us. The property is very peaceful and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing there each evening. Everything worked great and the water for showers was excellent too. Sometimes water in the costal areas smells a bit foul, but here it was perfect. We’d rent this place again when we come back to Sanctuary.

Lovely property, especially beautiful sunrise. Well stocked kitchen for last minute Thanksgiving prep. Game room is fun for kids of all ages.

Location is very cool in the mashes. Home was clean and had great entertainment for my kids !

Only issue was the lawn care showed up Saturday for about 40 mins . Had a 3 month old granddaughter trying to nap and it was really noisy. Just would have been better if the grass had been cut before our arrival.

The things that were good were very good. Game room, family room set up with comfortable couches and large TV, roomy kitchen, great views. Several issues needed attention. Broken cabinet doors, upstairs shower missing a knob and needs attention, tub won’t shut off, knobs keep spinning. No extra blankets for beds, not enough towels, 2 washcloths for the entire house, k cup and coffee makers but not stocked. No plastic cups for kids. Found quite a bit of pet hair in the bed, previous guests’ items in the sofa cracks, upstairs pillows clearly old and yellowed. Upstairs tv doesn’t have streaming services, only a vhs/dvd player but nothing to play on it. Many more issues, these are just a few. Property owner was friendly and responsive when we reached out and said there’s a new cleaning crew and sent additional towels. Also refunded our cleaning fee. The whole property needs a review and overhaul to maximize its potential and make a comfortable space for guests.

Great place, very spacious! So clean and quiet and peaceful. About 20 minute drive to the beach and shops. Having a dock on the water and crab pots was great.

Perfect way to break up our drive to Florida. The kids thought this house was their vacation. So much room and fun activities. We even caught a crab!

Don't let the outside fool you! Driving up to the property you can't help but notice the abandoned house next door or the unusual stucco exterior. Opening the front door is definitely a pleasant surprise! Very clean and super spacious with an awesome game room area. Fantastic well appointed kitchen. Clean modern bathrooms, specially the upstairs master. Great dock with crab pots, you can catch your dinner!. All of our family loved our stay and would love to come back again.

Unfortunately we did not get to stay at this home but the host was very communicative and helpful.

Last minute getaway as original plans failed. My lover checked us in and we had the best time!

We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the house. Also the game room was great entertainment for everyone. Decor was super homey and nice. We hope to return.

This stay was a perfect option for us to stay overnight while passing through Georgia. The property manager provided great communication. Very spacious property with a great game room!

My family really enjoyed staying here. The house was very clean and roomy. The kids had fun fishing and playing all the games in the house. We had a great time and we would definitely come back again!

Vrbo newbie here. If I’m being honest, I thought for sure that we were going to show up and discover that the posted photos that had been photo shopped or some weird camera lens had been used to make rooms look larger than they actually are. Well, I was wrong. This property is exactly as the photos show Large game room with full size ping pong table, air hockey table, foosball table and cocktail table arcade game. There is an open concept kitchen, lots of counter space, double oven and gas range. Nice size living area and very large television. Downstairs has two bedrooms each with a set of full-size bunkbeds with a twin size rollout and full bathroom. Upstairs has a master bedroom with king size bed, master bath with a walk in shower, double vanity, and inviting jetted tub. The second sleeping area upstairs has a double bed and a gas fireplace. The entire home was spotless, and the beds were comfy. We enjoyed our time fishing off the floating dock. The view of the marsh was breathtaking especially at sunrise and sunset.

It’s not the end of the world, but you can see it from here. Lol. We enjoyed the long views across the sound as a storm rolled through. The crabs and shrimp were moving, as well as the fish. Very pleasant, peaceful location. I would highly recommend this place for anyone. Even my city folk loved it😉
