We enjoyed the convenient location to the beach. With little kids and old people, being close to the beach is worth the extra price. I’ve rented houses in this neighborhood but across the street and this is much better as far as running back to the house and not having to pack for the beach. I don’t know what the recent reviewer was referring to when they said this house “needs updating.” House was nicely decorated and very clean. Even the front loading washing machine didn’t smell. The adult beds were very comfortable- mattresses were firm and comfortable, bedding was nice (I have rented many beach houses where the beds are terrible and the linens are scratchy and uncomfortable and was glad this house had the kind of beds I expect at home.) Kitchen was very well stocked with basic spices and every pot, pan, bowl, etc that we needed and we cooked every meal at home on this trip. Downstairs area was perfect for kids and pups as it was totally fenced. Tiki bar was nice. There were many outdoor places to sit and visit. Lots of beach toys for the kids. The kids (teens) did report the bunks were uncomfortable. That is the only problem anyone in our group reported to me. Overall a fun time. Would highly recommend. Price is a bit high for Texas (it’s the same that I pay in the Virgin Islands), but house was great. Don’t leave anything on the beach though because someone did steal our brand new shelter. Not the house/ owner’s fault.

The location of the property and how close to the beach was great. The pictures do not show the house directly in front of it so the pictures are a little deciving. The tiki bar was very cool and we used it a lot, very nice addition. The remodel of the inside of the home was average due to the floor is very unlevel and coming apart so you have to watch where you step. The ceiling in the great room had a hole in it which I immediately called the owner about. Also we a small A/C issue that (me) the renter had to fix with the help of a technition over the phone. Also the deck is very dangerous as it was falling apart (I will try and attach pictures) but we didn't notice this until our teenager leaned against it the night before we left. We did ask for an hour extension and the owner gladly allowed us to do so, that was very nice. Lastly the owners have multiple cameras placed all over the property. I think I counted 4 cameras total (outside). Which gave my family the impression that we were being watched. I mean why do you need those many cameras? Overall 3 out of 5 stars !!

You can tell the owners put thought into every detail! This place was beautiful inside and has an amazing outdoor experience! Great views, right on the beach, the Tiki Bar was a huge hit! We loved our stay! Our family will come back every summer! Everything you could want in a vacation house!

Wonderful place to have a family vacation. Tiki house beautiful! The family loved the closeness to the beach. Many sunrises and sunsets were viewed from the deck. Will definitely recommend this beautiful beach house.

Had a wonderful long weekend with family. House was clean. Tiki Bar area was great for kids….fenced in, corn hole, dart game, swing all provided.

Love the tiki bar! It was chilly during our visit, so we were not able to enjoy it. One item I would fix/ replace. The gas grill is very tired,

Nicole is extremely helpful, very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. Our house was very clean and had all of the necessities for our stay (rainy day games, TV's, and a cool, Tiki bar for relaxing). The Tiki Hut bar area is fenced in so we could keep an eye on our little ones, while the teens enjoyed the bikes and the adults relaxed in this secluded community beach area. We loved this beach house!

My family stayed here over spring break. The house was perfect! I was so impressed with the comforts that it provided: all beds were super comfortable, large TVs in each room, great internet connection, open concept, FANTASTIC OUTDOOR SPACE AND ACCESS TO THE BEACH! The host was so quick to respond to any questions and was very kind! I definitely recommend and our family looks forward to going back soon!

Great location and amazing outdoor area! The ground floor Tiki Hut area is amazing. Ground floor Private bathroom, refrigerator, ice maker and TV. You don’t even have to go upstairs. Upstairs was great as well. Will rent again soon.

We had the best time at Tiki Time, despite the weather. The house was the cleanest house i have ever checked into. The view was perfect and beach access was right there. The beds were so comfortable and the house had plenty of room for two families of 4 (there was even one bedroom that went unused). The kitchen had all we needed to cook all meals at home, but we did enjoy the West End Marina for dinner one night. The owner was kind and responsive; and the check in/out process was SO easy. We will be back!!

We had an amazing stay at the Tiki Beach House! The beach house was so clean and the owner was very attentive! The beach is just steps away and it's not too close to the public access area, so it is like having a private beach! We will be back!

This house is wonderful in every way. The location is perfect- house is situated on the beach with great views of the ocean. Outside space is so nice with the tiki bar downstairs and comfortable seating area along with a couple of hammock chairs. The area is completely fenced in and was perfect for us to let our dog hang out with us out there. The inside of the house is tastefully decorated, plenty of space to hang out and beds were all comfy. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we've experienced at a vacation rental. There are so many extras at this house- cornhole, darts, board games, sand toys, beach chairs and bikes too! The owner Nicole is super responsive and patiently answered all our questions. We hope to stay here again next year!

We had 10 people with us ranging from kids to grandparents. The house was perfect for a large group with the large living room, large dining table and plenty of space for everyone to relax. Whether you want to sit inside, outside on the balconies or find your way to the downstairs Tiki Bar, you will have great views of the beach! The tiki bar was great for visiting and having a drink. You have two parking spots on concrete right at the gated entrance. The beach was much cleaner than the downtown area beach and if you like to have some space without people all around it is perfect! Outside shower was great for when you come back from the beach. Location was really good, we like to go to downtown Galveston and also over to the Surf Side area so we were basically right in the middle. There is not one thing that we could say we would change about the house, location or amenities of the house! Definitely would recommend this house to small and large groups. We will stay here again.

My family and I rented Tiki Time and the best week! The property was very well maintained and accommodated our group nicely. The owner Nicole was the icing on the cake and was very friendly and pleasant to work with. The check was simple and there were great views of the beach and easy walking distance to the ocean! Less than 30 seconds! Definitely would stay again! Thank you!

If you like having your coffee as the sun rises over the ocean, this is the place! What a great renovated property with all the conveniences of home. Our family enjoyed a great weekend, the outdoor area on the ground level offered a great place to relax with family in between time on the beach. It was equipped with games for the kids (and adults) like corn hole and spike ball. We had no problems and communication with the owner was very timely, friendly and helpful. Thanks for a awesome stay, we hope to be back soon!

Had a wonderful time! The house was clean and bright. The location to the beach was amazing. Next time we will bring a high chair for the baby and black trash bags to cover the windows. Some rooms had black out curtains. Everything was clean, convenient and easy which are our priorities with small children. Communication with the owner was top notch. Will definitely be back and will recommend to friends
