The garden is lovely . The pool is pretty and clean . We weren’t on the water but a few minutes walk to a lovely dock over the river with birds all around.
The cabins were quite close to each other but the gardens keep it quiet and private

Location and staff were both really good .
It was in a quiet location and easy to walk to places to eat of an evening and breakfast .
Self contained , everything available if you wished to sell cater .

Perfekter Service, immer freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Problem und Hilfe wurde sofort angeboten. Tolle Lage, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Kleine, aber feine Anlage mit sechs Selbstversorger-Cottages, die geräumig und sauber sind und eine große Terrasse haben. Hübscher Pool. Alles etwas eng, aber liebevoll angelegt. Frauen am Empfang sind super nett und haben uns wirklich alles organisiert: Game Drive, Bootsfahrt, Transfer nach Vic Falls. Hat alles bestens geklappt und war preislich absolut fair. Supermärkte, Banken und Souvenirstände fünf Minuten zu laufen. Schnelles und stabiles W-LAN. Zur Anlage gehört eine kleine Aussichtsplattform am Flussufer, kurze Strecke zu laufen. Sehr hübsch dort. Game Drive und Bootsfahrt im Chobe sind ein Erlebnis!!
Höchstens, dass es keine Moskitonetze gibt. War bei uns kein Problem, es gab schlicht keine zu der Zeit ...

Günstige Unterkunft in zentraler Lage. 6 geräumige Cottages auf einem kleinen Grundstück. Zugang zum Fluß mit Sitzgelegenheit. Supermarkt um die Ecke . Zum Essen gehen sollte man das Old House meiden. 2 x fürchterlich reingefallen.
Super Reiseanbieter ist Traveldealtours Kasane. Hatte die Unterkunft empfohlen. Gamedrive , Bootsfahrt und Victoria Falls super organisiert.
Der Garten könnte etwas Pflege gebrauchen. Hatten aber eh keine Zeit dafür.

We were four people, and expected from the reviews that the unit might feel a bit cramped and sleeping on the couch would not be the most comfortable. With these expectaions, we were very happy with what we got. The patio easily works as an additional room, so we never felt the lack of space. Apart from the very hard pillows, we also did not find the sleeper-couch that uncomfortable.
We liked the central, yet very quiet location, the safe parking spaces provided, and the small pool.
For four people the price was very fair.
Describing the units as "on the banks of the Chobe" creates expectations that will not be fulfilled if you do not read the description carefully. We went to the veiwing deck once, there was another couple present and the deck felt full to capacity already, so we did not stick around.

Very cute and authentic little place with cosy cottages and a very well equipped kitchen. Every detail well designed and thought out!
Cottages hosting 4 pax do not have 2 separate bedrooms, and one couple must sleep on a pull-out couch in the living room.

Great place to stay when visiting Kasane. Next to Coffee Buzz and Old House for eating options, or a short walk to Spar supermarket if you want to self cater in the more than adequate kitchenette (we bought pre-cooked frozen meals from Coffee Buzz which we reheated in the microwave.

Great location, clean and comfortable cottage, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent cleaning /laundry services, affordable, great access to the river, everything we needed was offered (bedding, towels, kitchen utensils and dishes), lovely small pool
I think the layout of the kitchen was a bit awkward- all other rooms were excellent - the kitchen could do with a bit of modernization
Maybe the hosts could stock and sell charcoal for the braai. We struggled to find this in town.

The staff was friendly and it is in a secure area. At night the security gentleman was visible all the time. The deck area on the river bank was icing on the cake.

Very comfortable, clean, very well equipped, nicely decorated chalets. Beautiful terrace. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Lovely staff.

We had a breakdown on the road to Kasane. We didn't arrive until the morning after my reservation. We were exhausted and dirty but only had an hour before our safari tour left. I was willing to pay full price for just am opportunity to shower and sit down, I have a broken leg too. Rather than make me pay they allowed me to shower and rest for an hour for FREE!!! After telling them what happened they were so kind and sympathetic it brought tears to my exhausted eyes. The room was beautiful and the staff goes above and beyond. I will definitely be back and look forward to staying for a longer period of time. God bless you all at Chobe River Cottages!
