Not so much friendly at the front desk and at first we got a roof right next to the gym and it sounds to much

I had an item taken from my room. I noticed this after checkout and have tried to retrieve the item but the response has been poor. Would not recommend staying here

Lots of extra charges. Room service rates are exorbitant but additional charges here and there. Felt like we were being nickel and dimed after already paying 300-400 for a room per night. Valet parking is $77 per night. We street parked 20 seconds away for free. Room was ok, lobby area was good with games to play.

Loved our stay. The staff were amazing and so nice.

This property was great. They let us check in early, we felt safe and the bar and wait staff were friendly and attentive. I would stay here again, however I think I am done with San Francisco. Love Marriott properties.

I like the many electric outlets and USB ports for chargers. I don't care about the stocked mini bar in the refrigerator. Not many hotels do that anymore. In fact, the hotel charged me for two bottles of wine that were not in the room to begin with. After I pointed out at the counter, they took it off my final bill. The location is good. There are many dining options. I would stay there again.

City is dirty and lots of business arround are close. Not what it used to be.

Daryl checked us in and was phenomenal.

There was a dog barking in the hotel room next to my room for 3 days. I complained to the concierge and they said they will send a security to check but nothing was done.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who is going to San Francisco

There were several room issues and cleanliness problems.

This property has a few decades under its belt, but it’s still fresh and interesting. Being originally designed by legendary architect John Portman, the original thoughtful details and space have been well maintained through renovations. The staff couldn’t be friendlier or more prompt to assist—they really make it a choice place to stay. I highly recommend staying at this hotel and hope to return very soon myself!

Room was great, corner room, clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

The property sells rates with BREAKFAST INCLUDED and it was a decisive factor in my reservation. However I felt deceived and disappointed when o arrived and was told that in fact there is not breakfast included but a credit of 20$ per person to spend on breakfast. Note that 20$ credit in a place where a coffee is 10$, it’s not enough. It’s ok to offer a credit, once it’s clear that is only a credit. But the property sells as “breakfast included”. I was told that I would apply my “destination guest credit” of $10 per day on breakfast as well, but when I tried to use it the restaurant was not able to apply 30$ credit, and on checkout the receptionist mentioned the he would remove the difference o my invoice, but I just saw the amount was not removed on my credit card. The costumer service was kind trying to minimize the impacts, but the resolution was not applied. Take care: breakfast included rate to JW San Francisco doesn’t mean breakfast included, but a small credit.

Attentive staff, excellent rooms. Restaurant could be better - but bar was good!

Most of the staff was professional and courteous. There was an instance during happy hour where my friend waited over 30 minutes to order a drink only for the bartender to never take the order. My other friend had to directly confront the bartender to ensure we all had our orders.

There weren’t any ice machines available. Also no mini fridge which was very inconvenient.

Convenient location. Valet parking is also nice to have. Very close to union square.

The facility is clean and very close to local attractions.
