The hotel is very nice and so were the employees. Tuna melts need to improve, the fries were awesome!

My room (215) is facing the air handling unit tower which generates a constant mechanical din especially noticeable at night. Housekeeping comes every 3 days only which is surprising for a $340/night stay, 'to minimize interruptions'.
This would be less of an issue with a duvet in a standard duvet cover. Instead the duvet is sandwiched between two standard sheets and a major faf to make the bed.

Loud heating/cooling fans in rooms, turn off and on all night. No automatic room service which means don’t forget to get more coffe for your second day. No breakfast.

Manager “Z” was amazing! She really helped me when I left something at the hotel and was so kind. Everyone smiles at you and the place was super clean. Check out Rise! Biscuits if you get a chance to stay. Great trip!

The person who checked us in barely looked at us and gave us a lousy room (near elevator and shared wall with ice machine), hotel was far from full, so no excuse. Every other staff member was amazing and we loved our stay despite the mean check in lady and less than optimal room.

The hotel was just OK considering the cost. The room is small with inadequate seating. The balcony had one table and one chair not very reasonable for two guests. The room had an odor that we were able to resolve since we brought our air purifier with us. Restaurant is just a bar and never saw the breakfast buffet

Gps is hard finding this place. Food and drinks are too high. To be a high end chain its below expectations. Also ordered the morning breakfast that was 63 bucks, came 1 hour late, was colder than the mini fridge. Manager did credit me for the inconvenience. Would stay again but it needs work.

Overall, my experience at the Sheraton Hotel in Chapel Hill was mixed. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. the loudness of the air conditioner. I didn’t get a good nights sleep due to the noise from the air conditioner. Unfortunately, given the hot weather outside, I couldn't simply turn it off without being uncomfortable. I hope the hotel management can address the noise level of the units to ensure a more restful stay for guests in the future.
