Exceptional service from all

Our stay at the Four Seasons Embarcadero was excellent. From arrival to departure the hotel staff was courteous, helpful and professional in all aspects. Our corner suite was clean, comfortable, quiet and provided an awesome view of the city and bay. The only disappointment we had was with the service in the hotel's restaurant Orafo. We had breakfast there and the service was slow, disappointing and not anywhere near to what one would expect from a five star hotel. Even with this shortcoming, we would return to the Four Seasons Embarcadero on our next visit to San Francisco.

We got married at the SF courthouse on 10/24/24 and decided to spend the night at the Four Seasons and it was the best decision we ever made. Sequoia and the team went above and beyond to congratulate us and even upgraded our room! We will definitely be coming back every year on our anniversary to celebrate! The rooms are amazing but the staff is truly what made the stay so memorable! We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day extra amazing!

Room wasn’t available until 2 hours after check in time, which was a shame after a long trip however a free breakfast was offered as way of an apology.

Friendly service, impeccable housekeeping, great centralized location, and fantastic views of the bay and bridge. However, only one elevator was operable during the duration of my three day stay. Additionally, the AC never reached the temperature set on the thermostat. Also unacceptable. When you’re staying on the 47th floor and during a “heat wave,” elevators and AC need to be fully operational. And if they’re not, calls crew to resolve the issues same day.

Typical Four Seasons: immaculately clean and neat, gorgeous suite, service staff polished and attentive, excellent food and drinks. The view from the upper floors is just stunning. (Recommendation: splurge a bit for the Golden Gate view room or suite. Sunsets alone are worth it) Although the restaurant is smallish, the food is excellent.

Best hotel in SF and probably my favorite in the states. Impeccable service, love the rooms, cleanliness, looking over SF and the bay, bath with a view, walkways with 360 views, chocolates, and overall quality of items.

The hostess Gabriela was so helpful! She got me a better room because I was celebrating my birthday! couldn't have chosen a better hotel.

My only criticism concerns the lobby entry. It needs a revolving door to keep the space warm from cold outside air. Uncomfortable for guests and staff that has to be there all day.
Bathroom scales would be nice amenity.

The waiter, insiandian tall man , black hair, in the Orafo restaurant was so rude and unprofessional. He didn’t say hello and brought the check at the table without to even look at me. I strongly suggest the management to replace the position immediately.

The staff at Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco Embarcadero were beyond exceptional - always friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble.
The Suite, 1 King Bed, Bay View, Corner on level 47 provided fantastic views out across the bay. The room was well appointed and comfortable.

Amazing views, great beds, fantastic staff. Missing the great bathtubs of the older downtown property. Bar menu is also excellent. The mushroom pasta is outstanding. We will be back…but oh how I miss a great bathtub.
