A beautiful property at a great convenient location. The staff were professional and extremely helpful. Hotel and room were clean and organised and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. The only thing I would request would be the provision of daily water bottle in the rooms. However highly recommended you will love it!

Had a 1 night impromptu stay at the Cairo Marriott. I would have stayed for an additional few days although the rates were beyond justifiable. The room itself was large and spacious. We were overlooking the carpark so not a great view but we weren't in the room much anyway. The property is quite large and there are not wonderful sign posts directing you to the lobby so if you just arrive it's a bit of a maze to figure out where to go. The main building is beautiful and there's plenty to take in. The gardens are also beautiful and peaceful. Pro's Good location Large and spacious rooms Quite a few dining options and the meals we tried were quite good Con's Bathrooms are dated Our bedside phone didn't work at all and only the one beside the toilet did which was annoying. Plus the phone that did work kept falling off the wall. Service was slow in the restaurants Overall, I would stay here again, although next time I think I will book the executive lounge access.

This is my favourite hotel to stay in while visiting Cairo! I love the grounds, ambience, wonderful, attentive and friendly staff, beautiful pool, gorgeous old palace features in the main building, and the most excellent location in Cairo on Zamalek. I highly recommend this hotel!

It’s an amazing location and the rooms have a lovely view, and staff were generally nice. The room was not well maintained. There were some issues with the shower. The first day the shower gel was empty ! Then they forgot to refill my Nespresso since I stayed at the executive room. Also, I asked for later checkout (8 PM) and they charged me 100$ extra. I asked to stay an extra hour since my flight was at 1:30AM and they refused ! They said they’d have to charge me a full night. I ended up staying in the lobby for an hour and a half. They never asked me about my experience upon checkout. They don’t value their customers and their relationship is very transactional. The room smelled like cigarettes although it said that it was smoke free and I had to put up with the smell. And finally, their security were intrusive at some moments. When I arrived the scanner did not work so they kept me waiting for 10 minutes, then they went through my stuff. One time, they did a body scan. Which was unnecessary and made me feel uncomfortable.

The staff at this hotel was what made it so special. Omar at the front desk was amazing. They were friendly and always willing to help and answer questions. I enjoyed my 4 night stay and will definitely be back again.

Good hotel. The only down side is the cost, I wanted to extend my stay few more days, they told me the price per night in the final days of the year would be over USD 500 per night, I consider that too much, unless you are a president or a billionaire.

this is my more than ten stays at marriott omar khayam cairo .. i love it and hopefully ill do it again and again

Nice clean and have everything in the hotel

Everything is great there.

The grounds of the hotel were lovely and relaxing. I loved the amenities in what was once a palace. My only disappointment was the huge TV screens, inside and in the outside seating areas of the Egyptian Nights restaurant. The food was delicious, but the large tvs were annoyingly bright and obtrusive. I wish we could have ordered the food, and were able to eat it in the other lovely outdoor eating areas, away from the tvs and the hookah pipes and their accompanying smoke.
