Nice hotel but price wasn’t worth it. The freeway noise was unbearable. I don’t sleep well listening to traffic

The hotel was outdated. They need some renovation done special in the bathrooms.

A shoddy, poorly managed property. If we'd read the more recent reviews we never would have booked. Our room: empty shelf where microwave was supposed to be, no hand soap, balcony door locked shut, HVAC unit fan stuck on high the entire stay, bathroom fan also stuck on high, bathroom light on motion sensor so it went off in middle of night, and stained and crumbling popcorn ceiling. The freeway traffic noise is relentless. But ... the AC did work, so 1 star for that.
No warning that the entire property is being renovated, the lobby and elevators are awful, and the Jacuzzi doesn't work.
I've never stayed at a Marriott in such bad shape, this is a black eye for the brand.

My day was very comfortable and quiet. Parking was convenient and the location Was close to many popular restaurants and shopping venues.

Under renovation, was told the floor I was on was done. The room I stayed in had new carpet and new TV, but furniture was visibly quite worn. AC unit didn't work. Motion light in the bathroom could not be turned off, so any night time movement meant bright light. The TV was glued to the desk and could not be pushed over, leaving only about 10" of space for working. On the highway with car noise constantly present in the room - AC may muffle it if the unit works. Next to a shopping area and close to restaurants.

Nice room however the roar of the 210 freeway made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. Ear plugs should be given at check in. The bed was also very hard. All staff members were great and very helpful.

I had a bad experience at this hotel due to noise from the pipes when someone would shower. The noises started at around 4:30 and proceeded with construction work at 8 without any notice. Made it difficult to get solid restful sleep

The hotel was very busy while we were here. The staff is very professional and kind. There’s construction happening at the hotel, so expect some dust.
Overall, I would stay again and get breakfast included. They have the good yogurt.

Room.was not thoroughly clean. Food and crumbs were discovered on the furniture and floor from the previous guests.

the room was clean and fine. just a little outdated in decor. the interstate was very noisy but thats not the hotels fault. the staff were super friendly and helpful. good shopping and choice of eating out close-by.

Our room was dated, furniture is worn. Sofa was uncomfortable, carpet was stained. We requested a city view and were given a view of the noisy freeway. The hotel lobby area is being renovated.
I included breakfast but it was confusing? You can only chose one beverage, Nickle and diming, water, coffee or juice- I ordered a coffee and a small orange juice $5.30….our cleaning service was non existent, we decided not to have it.

I loved my stay at the Marriott, the only thing is I wished they still had the balconies open. me and my man was really looking forward to the balcony. But other than that the stay was awesome!

The employees were really terrific.the poor rating overall is because we stayed at your property because of the location and the pool. We could only use the pool the day of arrival. We went to the pool the next day and could not gain access. When I asked the front desk they said it was closed for the next 3 days due to tiling inside the hotel- nothing near the pool. Apparently, it was the only way to walk to the pool. No future notice. Nothing. Very disappointed

Freeway close and many, many restaurant options. If you need to stay on N.E side of San Garbriel Valley, you can't go wrong staying at the Monrovia Courtyard by Marriott.

Free parking was good, there was a cleaners rag in our room when we checked in. The couch in the room had a few marks on it, and our tv was very dim. It was difficult to see the image.
