Room key did not work. So, different room was provided. Nice first floor entry. Room was nice size with usual amenities. Walk-in shower was nice but odd 2 shower head set up. Water pressure was weak.

Awful! I never do reviews. If I could give this zero stars I would! The door lock to the balcony was broken. The latch on the front door to the room was broken. The toilet had NOT been cleaned. There was yellow crust and brown splatter all over the toilet. Not stains but actual residue from last use. Towels appeared not washed… had to buy towels at dollar store to use during my stay.

The biggest issue was you couldn't enjoy the outdoors because there was goose poop EVERYWHERE!!! With no attempt to do anything about it,some of it obviously had been there for weeks. The beds also seamed small
But the view was incredible

Front desk was excellent - I had made a mistake and reserved for the wrong night but they pleasantly switched my reservation witout a problem.

Room was very outdated . Our sheets in our beds had hairs of another person . We didn’t use our sheets . Bathroom was dirty and room smelled of mildew. Outdoor furniture was dirty with food crumbs and spider webs . Lawn had geese dropping g all over you could hardly walk on property because there was so much geese poop . We left early the next morning and found another hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Had to contact their maint. people for an issue. They were quick to respond and fixed the problem. Good hot breakfast option.

Lot of bugs in the ceilings, should be vacuumed before we arrived. Bathroom ceiling have lot molds. Toilet won’t stop running unless jiggle the handle to stop it.

For two nights it was $600 & after a long day of traveling we were excited to get to the room & chill. Except when we got there & opened the door the room was infested with may flies!!! These bugs were in season & are always worse by the water. But they did nothing inbetween guests staying there they leave the door open to clean the rooms. There were also spiders in the sink, cob webs everywhere. Our currtains were ripped & there was water damage all over the walls. It felt like a bottom of the barrel motel in flint.

The stay was ok but I didn't feel like it was worth $200. The closet had no hanger rod. The sheers on the window only covered half of the window and the drapes would not fully close. The eggs or what ever they were, were terrible. I took one bite and spit them out. The ceiling in the dining room was covered with bugs. I believe it's time to replace that Inn.

Hotel was conveniently located for our stay to visit Mackinac Island, the property was well maintained and staff was friendly, only complaint was the pool area did not stay open late enough. I would stay here again.

Location is beautiful and grounds are well maintained. Room was clean and very comfortable. All staff we came in contact were kind, friendly and very accommodating!

We stayed for 2 nights in July and we liked the amenities like Pool and jacuzzi area, small beach at the back with access to kayaking for a nominal price. Rooms were not cleaned everyday and my bathroom door was stuck at the top so had to pull hard every time or ask someone from outside to push it in to open the same. Phones didn't work at all so we had to go-to reception every time we had to lodge a complaint or ask for room service.

The room was decent. Bed slept well.
My issue was the hot tub. We got in it and the chlorine was over powering. After using it I noticed it totally bleached out my new Navy bathing suit, The next morning I reported it to the front desk and all I got was sorry!! We will check on it. We ate breakfast and maintenance reported back that all the chlorine dumped into the hot tub at one time. I am requesting for some type of compensation. The cost of my suit was $70.00. I am glad that we weren't over come by this it was SO STRONG!!!

The single king size room was just perfect for my husband and me! Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable! Definitely would stay again if the opportunity lent itself.

Very good views from rooms facing water. Gas grills available in multiple spots to cook. A lot of bugs but not super inconvenient. Dog friendly area and plenty of grass for them to walk around

We made a decision to make a trip to the UP while our nieces were visiting from Washington St. I paid the extra money for a lake view (which definitely didn't disappoint). Front desk staff was extremely friendly. Never had time to enjoy the pool, which was in a beautiful glassed in room in the center of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately, we just had a bad experience. I don't think the hotel is terrible overall although it is an older hotel and needs some maintenance. Someone was in our room when we checked in. Thankfully, they had two rooms available for us as we had booked a family suite. However, when we got to the new rooms, the patio doors had been left open and there was no locking mechanisms for the patio door but they did have bars to block the sliding part. The tv didn't work in one of the rooms, the tile was busted up in the bathroom floor, and the toilet barely flushed. The staff was kind, the breakfast was good enough, but I think we will stay elsewhere when we come back.

Advertise playground, no playground the water was very nasty The kids and dog both came out smelling. Goose poop everywhere the pool was OK but arcade consist of four games two did not work. was supposed to stay tonight canceled the second night to go elsewhere.

I paid for balcony rooms and our rooms were on first floor in a separate building than the main hotel. Could not leave the light on in the bathroom because the light and the bathroom fan were all in one and very noisy!!!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The view of the lake was absolutely gorgeous! The building itself is a bit older and could use an update. The room was clean but definitely aged and had a few imperfections (some cracks in the walls, paint peeling etc). The beds were comfortable and it was a cozy room. It was not perfect, however perfect for our needs. Solid for a no frills stay in Michigan.

This place was not ADA compliant never notified us prior to stay even though the reservation clearly stated the need. Then when we arrived they charged us double because they couldnt accommodate us and said it was our responsibility to check if they had accessible rooms. Manager was rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. The hotel was rundown, disgusting, broken tiles and broken shower bars. Beware of this hotel and Wyndham chain as they do nothing to make situations right for their customers, but rather find pride in upcharging them for having a disability.
