Its was my first time in Detroit and it was a great experience. We enjoyed your stay at Embassy Suites, breakfast was excellent! We definitely coming again.

The room had trash in the basket when we got in, no toilet paper on the roll, dirty floor in the bathroom with shaved hairs and a piece of eyelash, so you could tell it was not cleaned. There was dust all over the furniture too. There was mold in the shower and the facility itself was dirty and not well taken care of. For the price of the room, I would expect better.

The room was spacious I liked the size of the room. My only complaint was the shower floor appeared dirty. It look like dirty was not cleaned up. Overall experience 8/10

The staff was amazing! Very nice and polite even with all my questions lol Destiny started my stay off just right and I can’t remember everyone’s name but everyone who I came in contact was great! Monequa was great with helping me check out as well.thank you all!

Large space

Everyone on the staff was really courteous; very positive and professional. Breakfast provided was terrific with lots of well-prepared, quality choices; except for the coffee, which was literally dispensed like a soda machine, not brewed or anything. Room was large and comfortable, with many amenities- microwave/fridge/sink area and a separate "living room" area with a big TV. I couldn't have asked for anything else! The room had a pleasant scent, too. However, it really didn't appear to be cleaned well. Lots of dusty surfaces, the floor of the white shower area definitely needed to be cleaned (with bleach) as well as the areas around the sink fixtures in the bathroom. The glass/mirrored surfaces looked 'wiped' but not clean. It made me question the cleanliness of everything. Bed was comfortable but had a 'top' sheet being used as a fitted sheet- not very professional. It was by no means an unpleasant stay, but I didn't expect those negative things from a Hilton/ Embassy Suites property. The hotel is in a remote, corporate area, so note that there is absolutely nothing near by but other corporate buildings. Please consider having a designated smokers' area in a place other than the front entrance of the building; it was not very nice leaving and arriving each day/evening, having to walk through a crowd of people smoking and the entrance area smelled of cigarettes/smoke as soon as you stepped outside, even if no one was out there smoking.

We went to a concert downtown and took a shuttle. very convenient.

I purchased 6 bottles of champagne from the hotel lobby. The bartender gave them to me unopened. I asked him can he opened them and give me 40 champagne glasses. He stated he didn't have that many. So he gave me what glasses he had and didn't offer to pour not glass, he just pushed the cart of glasses to me. Which many of them was dirty. Totally unacceptable, needless to say i made his tip reflect the poor service!!

Our experience at this Embassy Suites was amazing. Our room was clean and the breakfast was amazing.

I had a suite; it was huge and very clean. The refrigerator kept my water and fruit very cold. The staff was excellent; I need to recognize Cherrie in housekeeping, Maria at the restaurant, Patrice, Destiny Cee and Jerelynd at the front desk were all customer service driven. Anything I asked for all of them quickly fulfilled my request. The restaurant had great food, the continental breakfast had a variety everyday. Because I am a Hilton's Rewards member I had two free drinks during happy hour.

The disrespect me and my family endured during our stay is unheard of!! The bar staff was completely rude to us with colored skin but was smile and giggles to the other race!!!!! I don’t want to make this a race thing but that was very uncomfortable, and they was talking to use with rude tones!

Very nice hotel, convenient to where I needed to be. Will stay again on future visits.

Our room wasn’t the best. Found a big empty tequila bottle in our room. Shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. Pool just seemed dirty and no towels.

Room was next to a maintenance cabinet, caused my room to reek of gasoline.

Great place

My kids and I always enjoy Embassy Suites. The pool is busy at night. My kids prefer to swim after breakfast because it’s a bit calmer. The breakfast is great and the evening reception is really nice. We have stayed here multiple times, and will again in the future.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are wonderful.

I thought the staff was exceptional but I thought the rooms were in less than top notch condition, our shower needed calming, the carpet was frayed where it met the LVP flooring in the coffee area. It just looked like it needed to be updated.
