Only stayed for one night is a suite overlooking the grand canal. We were upgraded to a larger suite by Carlotta on reception. All staff were amazing. Hotel is amazing. A real experience of Venice. Beautiful hotel. Would recommend and will definitely go again. Rooms are on the expensive side but if you can afford it it is worth it.

What an incredible experience. Truly one of the finest hotels in the world..honeymoon trip did not disappoint. The property was beautiful, our canal view room was upgraded for us for our special occasion. Everything about the hotel and service oozed luxury. Memories of this hotel will stay with us for years to come.

The staff are friendly and the hotel and it’s location are superb. The concierge in particular was FANTASTIC. Downsides - The restaurant is over priced and the food is average. You pay premium premium prices for run of the mill food.

The picture’s on listing do not match that of the actual rooms. When I spoke up about this at check in the were very rude. Treated us rude the entire stay.

We had four wonderful days in Venice. The Gritti Palace was a huge part of that experience, from the welcome off of the boat at the door right through until we left. Whilst the room was a little smaller than expected, it had everything we needed. The bathroom was gorgeous, and the housekeeping and turndown service took care of everything. Breakfast was wonderful, and we had a great start to each day overlooking the Grand Canal. The terrace on the Canal was perfect for an afternoon re-charge each day. The spa is stunning - we should have been more organised to have treatments arranged in advance. Arriving back to 12 magnificent red roses in our room on my birthday was a particularly lovely surprise! Location was perfect for us, and we will definitely return to The Gritti.

Great location, lovely surroundings and facilities. Gorgeous room, well kept and clean.Great bar and restaurants. Food amazing from haute cuisine to snacks. The best thing, however, was the attentive friendly staff who made a point of chatting and helping to make us feel special and really were fantastic! They couldn’t do more for us but were not imposing. They know their local knowledge and we’re great with recommmendations, advise and sorted reservations on our behalf. will definitely recommend this hotel to people and would stay there Again if I ever returned to Venice!

If you love shopping and big brands probably the best located hotel we came across. Staff were friendly never really had to request or ask for anything everything was always done. 10/10 for service.
