This hotel was great except for the fact that a water bottle is 8$USD and there’s no on site parking. We got 2 coffees one morning and it was 20$ USD. Very expensive. But the hotel itself was beautiful, had a good smell front desk was quick and convenient.

The room has a nice layout, however the dividing walls are very thin so it is quite similar to being open plan. Communal areas are very clean and tidy. The beach with the dedicated loungers is a short walk away, umberellas are not provided at the beach or the pool. Activities are on a timetable so unless you are staying for 7 days do not book on the basis of these. There is nowhere to dry wet swimwear. The picture of the pool is deceptive, its next to a busy, noisey road. The bus stop for the free trolleys is outside the hotel entrance. TV in the room was faulty and the carpet was so dirty it turned my white socks brown!

Hotel was in a great location. We could walk to South Beach in a few minutes and enjoy the long stretch of White sand and the gorgeous Florida ocean. Hotel is right on Miami Beach and is centrally located. It is close to a lot of restaurants and hotspots like Ocean Drive and Espanola Way, where we spent a lot of time! Also, it’s just a 2 min walk to Villa Azur which has an amazing courtyard with a live DJ and Hookah! Hotel Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool was beautiful and the gym is open 24 hours! We spent two weeks celebrating our 23 year anniversary and my birthday. Hotel is clean and there is parking available close by if you don’t want to use valet. I would definitely recommend this hotel. If you are looking for an amazing iced coffee and authentic Cortadito Spanish espresso we would recommend Las Olas Cafe. Their chicken empanadas were the best we’ve ever had. I would also recommend Big Pink for breakfast, the red velvet pancakes were insanely good. The hotel is more located on South Beach and close Ocean Drive. If you are looking to visit downtown in Biscayne Bay Area, it is about a 25 to 30 minute drive from this hotel. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. Some concerns were the dust that accumulates in the room as we were there for 2 weeks and found housekeeping lacking in this area. We always had fresh towels and front desk was very accommodating with anything we needed.

My wife and I stayed at the Gates Hotel and we enjoyed our time there.

The overall stay was positive. Pool was small but clean. Staff were mostly nice. Check in/out was smooth. Welcome cookies were nice. The only con is neighborhood’s loud music. It was very noisy until 2am every night even weekday night. If you need absolute silence to sleep, we don’t recommend the hotel. Otherwise, the stay was comfortable.

Clean, friendly staff, I enjoyed the pool. Easily accessible, access to the beach, beautiful scenery on walking the beach pathways. Great dining options.

The hotel location was not the best in terms of accessibility, but the customer service was excellent. My room was a bit older but we got complimentary waters and cookies. Valet parking is $50 a night but that's better than the parking garage that charges each time you exit. Area is very walkable with the beach 4 mins away. The hotel had lots of daily activities so that was something nice to do each day to just relax. Would stay again because they offer parking and it was conveniently located near the beach with great customer service.

Everything was wonderful. Staff were so friendly. Manager Ebru was the best we have seen. She was vey kind and made sure the customers get more than they askes for. The room with the balcony was really good. It was a very clean property. They do not charge you extra for anything like other hotels do.

Overall a great experience. My recent stay at The Gates Hotel South Beach in Miami, Florida, was exceptional. The hotel's vibrant atmosphere and excellent service made my visit truly memorable. Check-in and Service: The check-in process was okay we had a little delay with getting our room incredibly but overall helpful and welcoming. Room: The room was stylishly decorated, spacious, and well-maintained. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The room also had a fantastic view of the pool area, which added to the overall experience. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping the room clean and well-stocked with essentials. Amenities: The hotel offers a wide range of amenities, including a beautiful outdoor pool, a well-equipped fitness center, and a cozy lounge area. The pool area was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Miami sunshine. The hotel also offers complimentary Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable throughout my stay.

2nd time using a Hilton Hotel, Staff was great and very welcoming and loved the fact that they have a fitness center and the cute little coffee machine in the hotel room. Highly Recommended.

The Gates will be the only hotel I stay at for my future visits to Miami. It was a nice, clean, and beautiful stay with the kindest staff. I had a very enjoyable experience.

The room was clean and staff was courteous. Some things were not as good as they could be, like the bathroom door that was too small, or the missing soap dish in the bathroom. Also, there was no space to put extra toiletries in the shower. There's room for improvement, but overall, it was a pleasant stay.

This hotel was not clean. The toliet bowl is broken. Valet service was awfully slow, would have to go down and wait 30 minutes for my car even after calling and texting multiple times to have the car ready. After waiting for the valet they would demand tips for their poor service. I could hardly understand but felt like I had to in order to keep my car safe while there. Valet is already 50 a night, on top of tipping 3 times a day to just use my own car. The room smelled like moldy water and everything was dark and dull inside. I cannot give this hotel more than 1 star, it truly should’ve been a motel.

Great experience! Nice Baecation spot for me and my husband’s anniversary! Nice staff! The smell of the hotel was so refreshing every time we walked in! Nice gym! Pool was great! Right near the beach! Just again Great Experience! It was so relaxing. We will be back!
