Clean and spacious room. View on the parking lot (motel). Quite noisy because of the highway nearby, and loud persons in other rooms.

We enjoyed our stay. Office staff and restaurant staff very friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Nice restaurant, bar and patio area. Nice coffee and pastries in the morning. Nice pool! Building 2 has beautiful fireplace rooms. Building three (where I stayed) on the far side is very quiet. Room was nice.
*only real complaint is that the shower water pressure is pathetic and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash selection left something to be desired.

Pretty outdated property, unimpressive food quality at the restaurant. Pictures made it look a lot nicer. Would not stay there again for what they are asking for price-wise over a weekend.

Great location, close to the city, but feels like you're in the woods (you are). Room was clean, updated and comfortable. The coffee in the lobby was good.

Restaurant- very good. Lobby - nice. Room - clean. Bed- good. Thin walls, can easily hear neighbors. Little space to put your stuff, even though room is large. Few shelves or drawers - shelves they do have are filled with their stuff for the room. Nowhere to put anything in bathroom - not even a hook on the door. I felt like the room was more akin to an upgraded Motel 6 than what I expected. Parking spaces in front of rooms narrow, however lots of other parking available. I feel like it was not good, not bad, just ok. I might go back (family in the area), however I will take a look at others first to see if there is abetted value for the money spent.

Not quite what I expected from the advertising. Essentially a motel, limited grounds to enjoy. Maintenance could be better. Looks like old double bed platforms were used - despite current bed was a queen with box spring on old smaller platform - making for a very high climb into the bed. Thin walls. For $345/night, wasn't worth it.

We have stayed at the Pasatiempo Inn before and found it to be very relaxing. Although the Inn is still a nice place to stay, we didn't enjoy building section 100 this time. The section of the parking lot was not clean nor no landscaping. The back where our room was had no landscaping or an enjoyable area to sit. Continental breakfast was mediocre and coffee wasn't ready the first morning. I will stay again but request to stay in building 200.

The primary reason for this high a rating is the proximity to the beach town. While not near the beach, it is just off the highway and outside the city limits (I think) and has one bar/grill on the property. Price is not exorbitant for the area, though there is a "tourist" fee of about $20 not reflected in the advertised price of the room.
Our room was adequate both in size and comfort, but since you are right on the edge of the forest, some there is nowhere to really stroll except through the parking lot.

The room was clean and sort of updated but you could tell the property was not very well maintained outside. The pool looked dirty and seems like it needs some attention but did the trick for the kids. Overall it was an average stay. Staff was friendly and helpful.

A decent place that was only 15 mins from the beach. Nothing blows you away but it does the job if you need a place to sleep. The restaurant was also good for lunch. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something simple.

First off, check in was smooth and welcoming. The hotel was very nice, the restaurant was amazing. great location, hotel is quiet. I slept great. I love it here I will definitely be back.

Lovely place with convenient location to Santa Cruz & Capitola. Rooms are nicely renovated with high ceilings, exposed beams, comfortable bed, and a clean and modern bathroom. Super friendly staff, plus coffee and delicious sweet treats in the lobby in the morning. Pool was very clean and relaxing when there were no kids.

Excellent property and value near the beach. Clean room. Excellent staff. Family friendly. Restaurant/bar on site. Only thing I’d recommend is upgrading beds. Makes a lot of noise when moving around.

I loved this property. It is so tranquil. It sits near the highway and you would never know it. Sleeping at night was so peaceful. There is also a nice restaurant on sight which was super convenient and tasty!

Cool smaller Inn near Santa Cruz and backing up to Pasatiempo golf course. Rooms were nothing special but did the job, and the restaurant was pretty good. Good find for the area.
