Really nice hotel. Rooms are good.
Staff were all really super friendly and helpful.
My only negative point was the prices in the hotel coffee shop. A beer was probably 3 times the cost of a bar outside so it felt like you were being ripped off to support the hotel and its staff.

Staff were great but the service was so slow. Evening meal in the bistro was disgraceful but in the Japanese restaurant it was great but again, very slow. No quiet areas where you can bring your own drinks to sit and relax. Pool is not at all what is shown and you can't get an alcholic drink there either. Have to compliment your staff though.

For Surabaya (as a non-tourist destination) I like staying here (many times) Nothing stands out, but nothing disappoints either. My rate would be 4 stars.

Staff were also very firendly and helpful.
Like a lot of hotels post pandemic though the hotel is starting to show its age a little bit so will need renovating at some stage before too long.

We got room on 6th floor, we requested for a smoke free room - and we got a room on the older wing (this hotel was previously Mirama Hotel), however we found out the bathroom was running out of soap, refrigerator was non functioning and the chair cushion were dusty. I am allergic to dust - so the whole time I was there I kept on sneezing. very 'painful' experience.

Mercure Surabaya is well located in the city, getting around is not difficult. The hotel is suited for business travelers and couples as it has decent facilities for everyone including pool, gym, spa, etc. and a good collection of restaurants

Got my beer (butang)(yummy) before my friend and she ordered 1st.
Told 2 other staff members b4 getting it. They were'nt busy.
Disappointed that NO tourist desk. Its a 4 star.
You get 1 towel per person and 1 bath mate. Unless you ask which they happily give. Thanks housekeeping staff.
1 toilet paper and its NZ budget. Other country people prefer toilet paper to water spray thing. You never know where thats been.

Hotel staff was friendly and nice knew my name and room number, some of which I had never even met, knew who I was. Everyone smiled and was eager to please. Only tried the one of three restaurants and the coffee cafe. I liked how the bread and pastries were half price after 6PM.The bread and pastries were good. Coffee was really good too. I met a gentleman who worked there who told me he lived in Florida, you know the part right next to New Jersey. But he was very friendly and eager to talk to me. I enjoyed the conversation very much. People know I love to laugh. You want to stay at a nice hotel where the people care to make you happy at any cost. Then I would suggest coming here I loved my first stay in Surabaya Thank you very much

While from Juanda Airport , I took a cab to Mercure hotel . The moment I arrive , your security given a warm smile and a welcome smile , it very great of your security . than I proceed to yr receptionist your counter staff great with almost welcome . they serve me very excellence towards my request . I feel most welcome at Mercure Hotel and like to thanks to all your great staff .

Good vintage hotel with charm. Basically good service. Overall good food, but overpriced food and drinks. Mini bar with little in it. Poor internet and email connection. Internet and email didn't work often.

I needed a place to stay overnight while in transit. The Mercure Surabaya was a clean and well run hotel, but a bit far from the airport. Nothing against the hotel itself, but I would prefer something closer to the airport. The room was nice and the staff was helpful in providing a place to store my luggage after I checked out and waited for my late afternoon taxi to the airport.
