The room was absolutely horrible, let's lust all that was wrong with it and why me and my girlfriend left after only 45 mins and found a different hotel:
1 the lobby was oddly sticky
2 as we got into the room there was a brown streak stain on the lamp shade
Rose petals behind the bed so obviously someone enjoyed their time there however it wasn't us.
3 the bed was so hard we made drum beats on it
4 they did try to upgrade us however the rooms were outdated and wasn't much better they then refused to give the info that our 3rd party site requested for a refund and trying their customer service was absolutely a nightmare we did get our security deposit back however since we paid cash for that thankfully but overall do not I repeat DO NOT STAY THERE oh on a side note me and my girlfriend's backs were oddly itchy after only being there for once again 45 mins

Had to wait 2 hours to get checked in and did not know about the 100$ deposit, TV didn’t get cable, bathroom fan didn’t work. Our friends room bathroom door wouldn’t shut

I noticed bugs in the elevator. The room and continental breakfast are elementary. The room suited our purpose—we just needed a place to sleep and move on. It was the most inexpensive. The location was right off I-70 and worked well for us because we came in late at night and met with family for breakfast a few miles east on I-70

Stay was ok. Continental breakfast as stated. Price was 162.00 with tax for a Friday night stay. Quiet location. Just a few minutes from State Ave where there is food and stores close by. We were not completely uncomfortable. Room had a bit of a stale odor. Hotel could use some new comforters (ours were very visibly stained), deep cleaning of room floors( socks were black from walking on the floor). Carpet in hallways also very noticeably dirty. General updates to be more aesthetically pleasing for the price.

Surprise fees- expect to pay a $100 deposit when you check in - in addition to the room nightly rental agreement. Then they’ll charge you twice which means you pay $340 for a room that is $140. When asked, the deposit was for “to encourage people to not smoke and cover cost of cleaning”. Which I understand incidental deposits but our room smelled heavily of cigarettes when we got up to it. Lamp by bed was broke- toilet moved when you sat on it. Walls/floor very dirty. Very run down. Poorly ran.

Got here and had to plug everything in to use it. TV remote had no batteries and then didn’t even work. Found cockroaches crawling on the walls and dead spiders on the floor. Made me put $320 plus a $100 cash deposit down for a $120 room… kind of sketchy. Pool was freezing cold and very small. Hot tub was okay, though. Breakfast was what you’d expect of a 2-star hotel. Waffles I’d recommend but not the bread or bagels. Found mold on one of the bagels, immediately turned off from eating anything in the bakery case.

It showed it's age. there was a plastic bag over the smoke detector. Ice machine didn't work very well.

Dog was barking next door to us. Will never stay there anymore.

Hallways smelled like cigarettes. Room and bedding seemed clean. Stains on carpet and lamp in the room. Room was cooled well with air conditioner and the pillows were fluffy. Elevator felt unsafe and had a sign asking for only 2 passangers or one family at a time. No cable to be found on the TV in room. Noisy guests in room next to ours. Overall subpar experience.

I like the property, and i love the young lady that works the front she was a lot of help when my door would not accept my key card an swiftly switched my room with no problem SHE NEEDS A RAISE lol .
Cons: my pillow cases in both rooms at lease two had stains on them but were clean sheets.. if you know what I mean . You can also just remove them as I did an cover the others with whatever you prefer to sleep on. My second complaint the guy that works the front is very rude and unprofessional. I called in after having my room switched a told him I left my iPhone charger in the room please check he proceeded to rush me off the phone and hung up in my FACE not only once TWICE!!!
Please seriously promote the nice young lady in the mornings that helps with breakfast and such duties , she is what the company needs as the face

Your site didn't say that the charge $30 dollars a night for each dog you have. When I got to my room, there was NO shower curtain, I called management and he brought me a shower curtain, he was afraid of my dachshund and small terrier

When I got to the room the t. V is broke. The swimming pool was closed for 2 days. The main reason I booked the air condition was leaking water that was supposed to change my room never did just overall wasn't a good experience plus had to pay a 100 deposit that i wasn't informed about till i arrived

The key didn’t work and then when we did get in the smoke alarm was beeping. Then we got a new room. The floor had soft spots and was sloped. The doors did not close properly. The staff was nice but overall we would not stay there again.

Checking in was slightly questionable. Had to swipe my card for incidental deposit, fully expected this. What made it slightly sketchy is the fact that even though my banking app said it was pending, the clerk told me it didnt process and i needed to swipe my card again.
The pool and hot tub were closed.
The room was pretty clean but the carpet in the halls was kinda gross. There was no hot water in our room which we didnt discover until trying to shower in the morning. Brealfast was a complete disappointment. The eggs were definatly boxed and the husband said the sausage was gross. The orange juice was also nasty. I wouldnt stay there again

Bummer that the pool and hot tub were closed. After a long road trip, a hot tub is welcome. We stayed 3 nights, but still not open....disappointing.

We were disappointed that the pool was not available, and it did not state that online while we were making the reservation.
Otherwise, everything was wonderful. The staff were very kind and always greeted us with a smile. The room was perfect. The location of the hotel was very convenient for the activities we had planned for the weekend.

Loved having a freezer. Walls seem a little thin as it sounded like a jet when a nearby room started their shower. Also the door let in a lot of light when shut tight. Otherwise the room was clean, the beds comfortable.

Overall our stay was good. However, we had 5 people, & intentionally booked a room that would sleep 6, but when we got to our room, there was only 2 beds instead of 2 beds & a couch as reserved. When asked, the clerk at the front desk told us that is not the reservation he got from Expedia, which clearly that’s not who I even booked the hotel through. We asked if there were any roll away cots & we’re told no, that they had all been claimed, but were told they would send up some extra bedding so we could try to make a makeshift bed for the night. The bedding never showed up.
Other than this very unhelpful clerk, & a snug room, we have no complaints about our stay.

Check in was fast and friendly. Hotel is a bit dated and could use a fresh scrub for mold and rust. And add making sure the room is a bug free zone, to include dead bugs. Still, bed was made, sheets and towels were clean, and the elevator worked, albeit the limited capacity allowed.

Worst hotel room in the midwest. Noisy. Hot tub didn't work in room. We ended up leaving after being there for just 2 hours

The stay overall was okay. The bed was not the most comfortable I’ve slept on but it was a bed and it was clean! The hot tub was not even warm and the pool was ice cold
Which was a drag beings that they’re indoor and we were all really looking forward to the hot tub and when I told the front desk associate he just kind of shrugged it off and said “can’t do anything until morning when his boss get in” but other than that the breakfast was incredible and it was literally minutes from the speedway which is why we stayed!
