We had a lovely stay at the Intercontinental, we got off the plane and went straight to the hotel and enjoyed the comfort of the much needed facilities. We had 2 days to unwind and acclimatise to the time zone on our way to Bali and this was the perfect place to do it

The place is in dire need of renovations. Faucet didn't work, toilets from the 80's, carpets from the 70s. A couple of pieces of furniture were stained or dirty. Their staff was very prompt and handled the issues but the property definitely does not have a 5 or even a 4 star rating. Again, staff outstanding, property is borderline avoid altogether.

This hotel has excellent service. Request for extra towel & bedding was attended to quickly even though we checked in after midnight. Unfortunately the walls are thin. The people in the room diagonally to us were talking so loudly that we could hear them at 3am. Someone must be smoking along the corridor & we could smell it near the door area. Thankfully it did not permeate throughout the room. I would come back again but hopefully we have more considerate neighbours.

Hotel is typical quality of Intercontinental hotels. Good service and helpful/friendly staff. The Petronas Twin Towers/Suria KLCC is 15 min walk. A few nice cafes nearby so if you don't have hotel breakfast, there are lots of options around.

The entrance will take your breath away. The room’s toilet could’ve been better. It was very slow to go down and the water in the hotel was yellowish! Unnerving to say the least. Our room was facing an apartment complex where people were hang drying their clothes on their balconies. Not aesthetic at all. Staff was wonderful and they made it feel better than what this place was.

This was a lovely hotel! I definitely recommend the club status as the food was 5 Star and the service as well. The concierge, Iqbal, was so helpful when my plane was delayed and I had to cancel my tour. He made sure I still got to see the sights by recommending and procuring me a ticket for the KL Hop on - Hop off bus which was a perfect way to see the city. I also recommend this hotel for its large room and amenities. There was a scale in my room! So nice to have. Also the pool was wonderful and had an amazing view as it was surrounded by the tall buildings of the city. Emmy at the pool was so helpful and kind. If you are looking for a hotel. This is the one for your stay in Kuala Lumpur!

The hotel is located at a convenient place close to two MRT stations and two shopping centers. In general, the hotel staffs are friendly and helpful.
My room was assigned to be next to the elevators. So, it is quite noisy to hear the elevators going up and down. The hotel should take some actions to reduce the noise. I heard the same complain from my friend whose room was also assigned next to the elevators.
The hotel's breakfast has good varieties. However, several days during our stay, the breakfast was a quite messy disaster with so many people in the dinning area and a long line waiting outside. The hotel staffs were helpless and overwhelmed. The hotel management should foresee this when giving promotions to attract guests.

Service was exceptional as was the food! I’ve been going to the intercon for over a decode - for their attention comfort breakfast- and noted that the same people have been there for YEARS.

I stayed in the IHG hotel in Sanya, China many years ago. I had a great experience there. I booked IHG Kuala Lumpur hoping for the same. However, I was a bit disappointed. The hotel design was quite outdated. The room was wet with high humidity. The bedding felt wet, the paper felt soft and wet. The large bathroom had a small shower, the vanity was old and had stains and broken decor. The lighting was inadequate. I hope an interior overhaul is underway.

Overall, the stayed is okay not as comportable as I expected. I requested 2 hours checkout delay but hotel want to charge alamost a day cost. Hotel will not offer any favor to guests. Do not expect to get your sercurity deposit back at the same day ( at least 7 days to 14 days)

We booked two rooms with two beds and they don’t have it. Key cards were not working . Staff was not trained properly.

Hotel is close to many shopping malls but its service staffs are not sensitive to my hint when i was telling her it was my birthday yesterday. Sure, offering a cake should not be a given but being a 5 star should at least offer something else, a card, etc.
