The owners, Geraldine and Peter were incredibly welcoming and friendly.
We checked in after hours and they were there to ensure we got into our room safely.
Peter very kindly dropped us into town the following morning.
The room was very clean with high quality sheets, towels and decor.
The air conditioning was a welcome touch on what was a hot night.
Nice and quiet.

We had an amazing stay at this motel. The staff were very friendly and I love that. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Loved the spa bath. All amenities easy to use. We will definitely stay there again when in Gisborne

Stay here often for work. Staff are so friendly and helpful, always smiling no matter what time of the day/night I turn up. Rooms are tastefully decorated with a modern feel. Clean and tidy equipped with everything you need.

Our room is very cosy. The bed linen and towels are fresh clean and displayed beautifully. We have an electric blanket too. Just wish I didn’t have to wash my dishes in the bathroom basin.

The Motor Lodge was well located and fairly central to the shopping centre + it was nice and quiet. Nice helpful staff and we got real milk in a real bottle - a nice treat with our morning coffee

Great service, I know we would be in late so room was ready for us. And receipt was also in the room ready for us as requested.
It would have been nice if the heater had already been turned on as it was cold, but it didn't take to long to warm up.
The hair dryer didn't work
But overall nice stay and helpful staff, even that we didn't get to meet in person.
