adequate hotel in a great location. Everything in Venice is expensive so we weren’t expecting much but the level of noise that we experienced overnight and during the early morning hours was unbearable. Constant banging and knocking that even earplugs could not drown out beginning at 7 AM. Management did not care. Would not stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, central to all the tourist attractions. Wonderful and friendly staff, close to the alilaguna water transport and Gandola rides (3-5 mins walk). The also make the best Cocktails at the bar. Wonderful stay at the hotel

It did not have a balcony, but it had a beautiful window that opened to a small canal from which you could hear and see the gondola rides that had serenades. Breakfast is splendid and fresh.

I can’t believe this hotel is only 3 Star. Its decor is authentically reflective of the building, representing the history attached to the building. The rooms are clean and well decorated. The breakfast choice is fresh with a good selection. Its only 40 yds from the Taxi drop off point from the Airport on the Orange route.

Great location close to a grand canal ferry route, easy walk to San Marco and other attractions. Deluxe room very spacious, lovely view over local square. Disappointed that rooftop is closed for maintenance, but very good lobby wiating area with tables and drinks for guests.

The hotel was in a fabulous location with easy access to the water buses and taxis to the airport. The staff at the reception were very friendly and eager to help with a smile and attentive nature. The rooms and very welcome air conditioning were great. However the bar staff were rude, inflexible and not customer focused at all. The bar was advertised to close at midnight. On both nights of our stay we arrived back at the hotel at 11pm and were refused drinks in quite a rude and abrupt manner. On the second night we wanted to sit outside for 19 mins before bed, but at 11.30 the bar staff started stacking chairs. They effectively tipped my wife off of her chair so they could stack it and go home. When challenged on ‘Why?’ There was no apology, just a dismissive wave!! Extremely rude and letting down such a lovely hotel.

Just two minutes from the water taxi dock and withing walking distance to saint Mark square and other amenities..Room was very clean, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Reception staff polite and helpful.I do recommend this hitel.

I loved staying here with my wife!! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is truly perfect if you’re touring the st marks square and Rialto bridge and Accademia area. Getting to/from this hotel is very simple using the water bus from the airport. I loved the juice and tap water provided in the lobby! It really helped with staying hydrated throughout the day, that was really appreciated. I would recommend to anyone travelling to and touring the southern portion of Venice!

This property was very unique with it’s history and story

Unprofessional staff. At check in the receptionist was cold, unwelcoming, and did not even provide information about the facilities at the hotel. When I asked about whether this behavior was part of the culture at the hotel, he responded “it is the summer heat!”. Avoid

This property was close to San Marco square and easily accessible to water taxis, shopping, and dining options.

On arrival nothing was explained to us, we didn't know how breakfast worked, where anything was in the hotel, fire exits or how to get to the rooftop.
