We booked a room during off-season. Though this hotel is located in an upscale area of Rehoboth, it is a dump. The owner /manager of the place was kind, but I wish I had booked elsewhere. They had turned off the heat so we were forced to use a small space heater - the temperature outside was 38 degrees. There were no bugs, but the sheets and bedspread were of questionable cleanliness

We could not stay at this place. It was filthy. It was a 10 x 12 room for four women and it was very unsafe for women and the doors propped open with big cigarette butts containers buckets. I lost 100 bucks. This is ridiculous to take money to have somebody stay there. The shower was a 2 x 4 it was horrible so we packed our stuff up and left and the gentleman just grabbed the key and threw the envelope away and said OK.

We stayed for two nights, the hotel is very well located and the price was affordable. Unfortunately, the building is poorly maintained, the room was very small with a small fridge and a microwave, the bed sank in the middle and it was impossible to sleep, there was no coffee maker, it looked dirty, the next morning we went to the reception to make a coffee and the coffee machine was broken, not to mention the appearance of the reception. I am a positive person and I have read negative reviews but they turned out to be exactly the truth. A shame because a well-maintained hotel would be beautiful.

Owner/employee not attending front desk as listed hours unattended, bed bug in room on first morning waking up, did not get parking pass from anyone for 24 hrs after arriving and go two parking citations, had negative experience with employee and bed bugs and owner does not offer refund for a major issue such as bugs, dirty rooms, outside of building was very dirty cobwrbs etc very unclean will NEVER stay there again, i recommend noone does unless you want bugs or mahor issues with the stay and staff

Property was very dark and dingy, rented a room for 4 night and didnt even stay there, there was zero staff that you could contact, key was left in an envelope.

There was a booking error that happened and upon trying to cancel this day, the owner was unresponsive and did not allow a refund. did not stay at this location, but the customer service part of this transaction was bad business

Property was poorly maintained and furnished. Stairs, no elevator. no staff. Required guests to clean their own rooms. Inadequate parking. But close to beach and restaurants

Parking in rehoboth has changed not in favor of the visitor,limited parking compared to people volume.Over the years staying here the owner is inconsistent to understand.

Parking is advertised, but nonexistent. We were given a key to a room that was occupied. The receptionist seemed completely unaware of what to do to rectify the situation. They spoke incessantly about random things, while doing nothing to find a solution. I suspect they were high.

The key to the door was the biggest pain, too undo the lock it took 5 min at the very least, the key didnt wanna leave the door. An the tv was staticy, also couldnt change the cahnnel on the tv.

the mirror fell off the wall. it constantly smells like pot. the owner is very nice and let us have his parking spot but the parking is horrible other than that. the rooms aren’t clean. the shelves on the wall on seconds away from ripping out the wall. there are holes everywhere in the walls.

This was the most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in.

The room needed a good sweep, but clean otherwise. Very uncomfortable bed and there were no towels in the bathroom. When I asked about towels I was pointed to the service closet to get my own. I paid for parking on the property but was not allowed to keep my car there after check out even though I paid for the day. I was told other guests needed the space despite the website showing almost all the rooms available. All I can say is that there is a reason why the hotel has vacancy all summer.

It was small and quiet and my lover and I had no issues. We didnt want to spend much on lodging and this place was awesome for as cheap as it was.

It’s the perfect spot for what you’re paying for. On the same block as the beach. Owner was super cool and check in was incredibly easy. Would definitely go back for another night!

This is a room in building for rent, not a hotel. Could barely fit past the bed to get to bathroom. The key to the door was not working and the gentle men knew it and text me just jingle and wiggle it no lie. He came and opens door. Was defiantly a very different setting.

The location was close to the boardwalk. Rooms was hot because everything was unplugged. Shower was falling in and unsafe. There was rust everywhere and stains all over the ceiling.

I don’t think they changed the bed sheets or the comforter because there was a toe nail and hair on the bed and the comforter is stained and dirty

This property is NOSTALGIC ! Reminds me of when I was a kid and stayed in an old house just like this. It's the charm, regardless of the fact that there were absolutely NO upgraded renovations, it didn't matter to me. Dan is a friendly host. It's incredibly convenient to anywhere you'd like to go in downtown Rehoboth Beach. And there is access to your own parking space. Thanks for the FLASHBACK Dan.

I am considered handicapped yet my room was on the third floor and I had to walk up steps. The bed was uncomfortable. I kept feeling like the springs were poking me. Location was great near beach & boardwalk. Parking tag only allowed me to park in certain spaces along the street which were often filled.

No one even checked me in. The key was on the desk. Dirty, small, unsafe. I didn’t even stay the night.
