The service was terrible the first day. The AC was not working, it took an hour and a half to send someone to look at it. We had to call again because it wasn’t fixe, waited another half an hour for someone to come to resolve the issue.I asked for a luggage rack, waited 2 hours finally i got it after calling again. The internet was terrible and they kept giving excuses. Coffee machine was not working. Unacceptable customer service from a 5 star hotel. Not worth the money.

Bath tub is high and hard to get in and out.

Really comfortable hotel in a great location. The staff were extremely helpful and helped us to get the meal out of our stay in Barcelona.

We cannot have asked for a more lovely hotel as a home base for our visit to Barcelona. The room was impeccably appointed, the staff was incredibly kind, gracious and welcoming, and the food was top notch. The only problem was how hard it was to leave!

The property is very beautiful. The staff is amazing. The only thing I would say and not in a complete negative way . The bathrooms have to be updated they are just not functional nor convenient. No robe hooks bathtub / shower is very bad and dangerous. Sliding doors do not work . Water distribution is bad. Let me just say they have to be brought up to a better standard. The public halls carpet need to be replaced . They are not looking good . We just feel that it is time for a change and upgrade over all.

The staff was inviting and accommodating. They helped arrange taxi transport to the airport and even packed a to go breakfast bag for one of our party that was leaving at 5 am. The location was great, felt safe, easy taxi pick up to see local sites. The rooms were clean and the beds were super comfortable!

Gorgeous hotel, we were very well treated, staff helpful & the food & view from the Terrace restaurant was excellent! Also obsessed with their room service Spanish potato omelette!! Great location, central to all things….highly recommend!

Stayed twice before and after cruise. First time, room and bathroom were outdated. Second time, asked for better room with updated bathroom and they put us in a room that was even worse. Lights wouldn’t turn off. Had to take our room key out in order for lights to go off and that meant we couldn’t charge our phones and air conditioner was not running. When I called downstairs, they said they were completely sold out and couldn’t help us. Will never stay here again

The staff at the hotel were so kind, friendly and helpful. We arrived exhausted from our overnight flight and they made us feel so welcome. One of our two rooms was available and they helped us get in and get settled quickly. Beautiful hotel!

The service was above and beyond. They provided lots of extras, champagne and chocolate at check in! It was close to everything in the city.

Such a beautiful place. Old, beautiful, well-maintained and staffed with outstanding young people. I especially enjoyed Maria at the front desk, Jose Manuel our porter. But really, all of them were so helpful and lovely. Charming, even. I love this place. I think I’m too old to make my way back to Barcelona again, but if I did, I’d definitely stay here. Each time we returned to the hotel and were greeted by the doorman, it felt like we were returning to a place that cares about us.
