I wish the fountain was on and wirking but i was told they were doing maintenance so thats ok i loved everything about it just wish there was better food options at the hotel and prices were high for food and drinks

Tucked away on the outer edge of the KC metro. Quiet and away from the noise of the city

You overbooked my hotel and thehotel cancelled my resetvation. When do I get a refund? The hotel says they did not take any money from the transaction.

Initially, the Lincoln room 125 was ok. After a few hours, there were issues with the thermostat. It was 62 in rhe room. Adjusted it to 68. Next thing we knew, it was 85. Then, the display began acting erratic. The jetted bath/shower combination is in the main room. THERE IS NO FAN OR VENT FOR MOISTURE/STEAM IN THAT AREA. EVERYTHING IN THE MAIN ROOM WAS SWEATING AFTER WE HAD TAKEN OUR SHOWERS. Then, the thermostat went blank all together. After about an hour, the display came back on flashing 88.888 continuously with no control.

The place is super cool and very unique. The room was a lot of fun, and it’s close to food and other shopping.

I liked the themed room (Serengeti) hallway had an odd smell.

The hotel was an ok experience. Some things didn’t go very well…The elevator was broken, the room was mostly clean but shabby. Lots of scuff marks on the walls, bed posts, doors etc. While we did enjoy the large tub…there were only 2 large towels in the room.. it would’ve been nice to have more then that for 2 adults. The bed was incredibly soft and not very supportive. We also couldn’t see the tv from the bed. Further more in several places the hotel bar is advertised as staying open until 11pm.. but was already locked at 9:50pm

Hotel definitely needs an upgrade. Boutique pricing but middle tier quality. Not worth spending $200 plus a night. Limited spa options and no pool.

The room was much smaller than expected. We stayed in Casablanca room and the bed was too big for the room. Could barely walk around it. Table and two chairs took up so much room you couldn’t hardly walk through the doorway. The jetted tub was nice but not worth what we paid. No handicap entrance to front lobby. Is that even legal?? Elevators were down. We will not be staying here again.

Would have liked free coffee and at least doughnuts. We were told coffee only on weekend depending who's working.

Wonderful staff. I arrived in town 2 hours before check in and was going to a concert. I asked the hotel if they could keep the wine and cheesecake i brought in the fridge for me until we checked in much layer after the concert which they did without hesitation. Beautiful rooms. Great customer service

I spotted small cockroaches around the bathtub in room 111, other that that is all good.

Elevator was broken, we are not supposed to flush toilet paper down the toilet. Requested extra blanket as bedding was inadequate, were told no extras as the hotel was sold out for the night. Stepped on exposed tack strip.

I enjoy the friendly staff. I love All of the different themed rooms. It is Always a pleasure staying here.

Beautiful room, initially gave us the key to the wrong room, but nicely recovered and picked up our late breakfast order. Breakfast was delicious and right on time.

We stayed at Chateau Avalon and rented the Egyptian room. We got moved to the New York penthouse. Not the room we expected. The room was dirty. Headboard on the bed had a thick layer of dust. Cracks in walls. Dirty, stained carpet! The bathtub is in the middle of the room!!! The fridge was outside the bathroom door! Whoever designed this room needs to find a new job! No place to sit and watch TV unless you lay on the bed! When asked about the room change was told the system went down and they just put people in whatever room was available! Not a good business practice! Will never stay here again!

Great, fun place to stay. It seems like they were making repairs when we were staying but I didn't notice. Very discreet. Just close enough to the city.

Chateau Avalon was beautiful! Our stay was so incredible, the room was so cool, breakfast was amazing, and this place has a special place in our hearts as we got engaged at the front fountain. Thank you for everything!

Fun concept for a romantic night out. Room could use a couple updates, maybe a couch or comfy chair. Pretty grounds, nice and helpful staff.

It was alright just had the ceiling dripping water on the last day but otherwise it was solid

We were looking for a nice romantic getaway and really enjoyed our stay at Chateau Avalon in the Castaway Island room. We purchased chocolate martinis at the bar, cheese and fruit with a small sluce of chocolate cheesecake to share in the room and the bed and breakfast for the morning. The food and drink purchases were all wonderfully prepared and delivered in a timely manner by the staff. We will look forward to returning for another special date night in another themed room.

The staff was very welcoming and informative of all the hotel’s accommodations. However, the room I was not so pleased about. They could definitely use an update on these rooms. The room smelled weird like a mildewed basement. Had to spray my perfume to get rid of it, although I could still smell it a bit. The lighting was terrible. The furniture was old and dirty and needs to be cleaned or replaced. My biggest issue was that the jacuzzi hot tub water, did NOT get hot! With the rates these rooms are going for, they need to do better!! Probably won’t book here again.

I had no hot water all night i called front dest and was told to wait about 45 min to an hour per it was a full house wich would have been ok except i had already been waiting all afternoon into the evening and never did have hot water it came out ice cold and would run luke warm for maybe 5 min and back to cold i waited till almost 2.am and still couldn't get it hot.

Our stay was amazing, the room was neat and clean. Tje staff were friendly and helpful, service was great! We have already booked pur next trip to return here!
