The hotel is great. It is in an excellent location with super helpful friendly staff. The beds and pillows were a bit too hard and uncomfortable but over all a wonderful stay.

The Castle Hotel Conwy is a great place to stay. Staff are some of the friendliest I have encountered in many years and many hotel stays. Room is spacious and comfortable. The beds and bedding a dream. And the food is quite superb. The home made pies are special and the steak tasty and tender.

This hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of Conwy close to all the main attractions. We arrived early and our room was ready which was massively appreciated after a long drive in. Parking was easy, free and onsite. The room itself was clean and tidy for the most part but had an overwhelming damp smell so we had the windows open the whole of our stay. The bathroom also smelled very damp and the basin was blocked so didn’t drain well. There were also bird droppings on the door and on the radiator which was unpleasant. The bed was huge and very comfortable and there were some nice additions like free water bottles, a variety of hot drinks and biscuits. We had dinner in the restaurant on our last night, I was very pleased with mine but my husband had muscles and he said they were bland and stringy so not too fresh (odd for a seaside hotel). What made this hotel was the staff. From the moment we entered we were warmly welcomed, Dave in The Snug was great fun and Rachel in the restaurant was so friendly and attentive, some of the best service we’ve received and a real asset to the hotel.

Gemma went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. She helped us extend our stay, recommended restaurants and even made reservations for us! She was absolutely wonderful!

Location was great. Halways smelled very musty. Room was fine. Nothing special. I would stay again if in the area.

Lovely hotel near the castle. Our room was comfortable and included an iron and ironing board and bottles of water. There was also plenty of free parking.

This was a lovely hotel and we would definitely stay again. We fell in love with the area. We commend Debbie for assisting us with taxis and generally being fabulous.

Staff are wonderful and the room was so quaint. Service and food in the restaurant was excellent. Only suggestion is that you request a room not facing the road. This is a very beautiful historic hotel but the windows are very thin so outside road noise may be a bit Loud for some throughout the night. Sleeping through the night was difficult. Overall though, two thumbs up. Would highly recommend.

This property was lovely the staff were amazing and friendly. The room was great and the breakfast was delicious cooked to order. So very fresh

We had a suite. Fun with different rooms but very unpractical- bathroom is across the hall with no plugs. Beautiful tub ❤️ in a different room with no plugs. Bed alone in a room. And only plugs were by the desk. Made it tricky. Hotel was old and fun. City was great.

Historic building with plenty of character

Very nice staff and the location couldn't be better. Conwy is officially my favourite place in Wales!

Stayed in the Narnia suite, requested the specific room in advance out of the two suites and was allocated the room we wanted with no hassle. The room is really cool and we loved the Narnia room with a view of the castle and church and you can even see the sea when the tide is in too! Parked without issue but if you have a large car like me then it’s good to take a swing into the tunnel so that you can try and get in as straight as possible - we also realised after there’s a few spaces opposite the hotel too which you can also use - I think about 8 spaces on a small carpark right opposite the hotel if you don’t want to risk the tunnel! Reception staff seemed very under the kosh but understandable for a busy bank holiday weekend! And one bar man huffed and seemed very put out when I asked for a cocktail at the bar, made very obvious he didn’t want to make it and huffed and sighed loudly at every action which I found slightly uncomfortable but overall it was good.

Very kind, friendly, and helpful staff. Comfortable, clean room and en-suite bathroom. The food was excellent. Good parking facilities, but take care on entering the car park as the entrance is narrow!

What a lovely hotel, the staff are very friendly and professional and can’t do enough for you. The hotel is very traditional and homely and the rooms are spacious with a lovely big bathroom and nice shower. It’s a quiet hotel apart from the early morning wake up call of glass collection at 6am and some sort of immersion heater kicking in shortly after, good job I’m an early bird! I would definitely stay there again, the food was very tasty and the bar area was lovely and snug. It’s very handy right in the middle of town so we could drop bags off as we went along and the car park is ample. Very enjoyable stay.

Comfortable well appointed hotel in the centre of Conwy with parking

I had a 2 night stay here for work - easy parking, the rooms were well equipped, The staff and the Food are awesome and the building is beautiful. will be coming back

On the whole good. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Our room was large and the bathroom modern and warm. A few things needed attention, only small but make an impression. Backs of doors in ‘ladies’ on 1st landing need repair. Window blind in room needs replacing. Dirty windows. Outlook directly under room window looks scruffy. The decor is traditional but could do with a bit of modernising. The food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast, though disappointing that breakfast is not included in the room price, making the room expensive at £150 for 1 night Very good to have car parking at the hotel.
