Excellent hotel in an amazing setting (former church )..quite unique and really well done

A unique experience in a former church, the blend of old and modern, luxurious rooms, and outstanding service.

We loved this hotel. The service was fantastic. Only negative was the room was quite small.

Excellent service, professional and kind staff. The food was of outstanding quality and the location is fantastic.

The property itself is charming, the rooms are modern and spacious. The service and amenities are top notch. Close to shopping, restaurants and important landmarks . The hotel has a lot of art on display. We loved it.

I loved the rooms and the hotel looks really nice. Location is perfect. Only remark is when we arrived, other guests got welcome drinks and we were not asked at any time. This felt not nice. Breakfast was ok, nothing bad but also not special, perhaps my expectation with a 5* is higher. The porter was helpful and kind.

What a wonderful property. Not only is it architecturally stunning, but the staff could not have been more helpful or more friendly. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unique hotel with great services

Disappointing. Had very high hopes for this hotel. Its very beautiful hotel- mix of the old and modern is interesting; however lack of function, especially in the room is substantial. Ate at the restaurant for lunch upon arrival and became very sick. My husband notified the hotel and we received an apology- that’s it. I was sick for a day and half! Breakfast is way overpriced- not worth it- so skip it. Still haven’t received our receipt- they told us it would be emailed- never received it. A very disappointing stay- will stay elsewhere when in. Maastricht.

An artist's labor of love. The hotel is in an old abbey that not only has been lovingly restored but also meticulously and beautifully redecorated. You are staying in a masterpiece.

A place to be!

Excellent service, food and drinks were fabulous. However, on settling the final bill I discovered a few discrepancies that remain to be resolved.

Romantic hotel, Well groomed clean an excellent food

Because of Covid outbreak we were actually not allowed to travel from our hometown in Belgium to Maarstricht which i 10 km over the border. So we ask for this 700 usd stay for 2 days for a rain check, but nope we would be charged full rate.So we thought well then let’s see how this place is. Breakfast was supposed to be included but we were charged around usd 40 per person then parking also around usd 40 per night. Dinner menu was very limited and really very common food. Wine list extreme expensive for a little better wines.So we left after one night the “upgraded” room was so small that i could not go to bed without great risk of bumping my head. The friendly staff tried to make things up by giving us a bottle of local wine. All in all not worth to spend a fortune in this place! And flexibility zero under these extreme covid rules!

Great place to stay. Hotel staff are very polite, service oriented and exceptionally great service. Dutch hospitality industry could learn from this hotel’s staff.

very unique for a hotel setting inside a church. The food in the restaurant is of very high standard.But the layout or the guest room is very inconvenient. The valet parking fee is much too high.

Beautiful, unique hotel in renovated monastery/church. Unfortunately, our room was in the peak of the roof and had only one tiny dormer window - in the bathroom. The bathroom was beautiful, but the main room left something to be desired. One oversized chair and a desk chair were the only seats available. The desk and large chair should be replaced by different furniture for comfortable seating. The TV was SLOW to respond. The AC was not strong enough so the room was warm.
