Lovely spacious clean room. Breakfast was very nice.

Very nicely decorated house and bedroom which was large and packed with nice details. We were impressed by our welcome on reception and the service in the breakfast area. Breakfast was great and ample.

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Hove. Rooms were spacious and really comfortable and it was in walking distance from both Church road which is filled with lovely restaurants and the seafront

Claremont is a Victorian building dating from 1880. There are some sighs of age. A lick of paint or a clean up would make a world of difference. Often just a small mark on the paintwork lets the property down.

The room was tiny with the bed filling it so thought it was overpriced. Staff were lovely and the breakfast excellent

the cleanliness of the property is outstanding! everywhere are so clean and tidy! the room is spacious, with decoration. it has no air conditioner, but the room is cool to live in during summer, fan is provided in case you need. the garden and pubic area are gorgeous. i love the breakfast too! staffs are nice and helpful! really enjoy the hotel.

The Claremont, it's history, interior design that tastefully combined it's cultural heritage with local artists work adorning the walls made for a unique and pleasant experience. Ideal location in Hove. The breakfast was delicious and staff friendly. The only downside was my room was on top floor requiring me, aged 74 who requires a walking stick to mobilise to climb 4 flights of stairs. I would have upgraded to a lower floor had I known.

A lovely bed and breakfast atmosphere! breakfast and tea were wonderfully prepared. Five minutes from restaurants, pubs, and Hove Lawn (beach area). Can’t say enough positive things!

I went to Hove to visit my son and take in a concert at the Brighton Dome theatre. There is so much to see and do in both areas I always enjoy my visits to the town. Thank you Brighton & Hove .

Unique quaint “home” converted into hotel. Great location near beach but quiet away from crowds. Huge room. Lovely breakfast with choices. Overall charming and good value. Would definitely recommend and also stay there again!

Super Hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast

It was so disappointing that I actually cried, I wanted to check out to another Hotel, but having paid and would have lost out, I stayed for 3 nights. It isn't a 5 Star Hotel, more of a B&B. Nothing worked in the room, it was really shabby and outdated, the breakfast was awful, hardly anything on the plate, really minuscule portions and hardly anything on the buffet, i don't understand how people left excellent reviews on the site, which led me to booking this place. I will never read reviews again. So misleading. The price wasn't that cheap either, could have stayed at a top hotel, but wanted an intimate place to stay. To note, the front desk is not manned 24 hours and you have to let yourself in, and also there is a dog running around the place.

We had a lovely stay at The Claremont. The room was spotless and cosy and we slept well, the bed was super comfy. Our room was at the back of the house overlooking the garden. Although a quiet spot, the owners left earplugs in the room as the seagulls do get noisy, was a nice touch.

This is a superb boutique hotel in every respect not least the excellent breakfast and will definitely be returning next time I am in Brighton.

I was disappointed about the condition of the place. I choose the place based on the rating. may be the raring bases is different.

A well-run hotel in a great location. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. My room was small but not quite too small, and I should point out that it was one of the lower-cost single rooms. Air-conditioning and a lift would have made it more ideal, especially in such hot weather.

After looking at the website for hotel just found really under whelming Our room was at top of house which is fair enough but was nothing like the impression I got from website felt cramped as Low ceiling and ridiculous hot ( obviously that’s the weather we have had ) was clean and tidy that wasn’t an issue just not wow ! I was expecting a bath as photographs on website were all about the bath and taps ?? My partner is 6 foot 4 and could barely move In our shower . Staff that I saw were always lovely and helpful Like I say just no wow factor for us which was disappointing for our 1st trip to hove
