We love staying at this hotel when we visit San Diego. Liberty Station is a great area that is safe and quiet with a lot to do right there, and it's super close to all the downtown tourist attractions, too. This was our third time staying at this hotel. They recently had a remodel. This visit we had the 2 bedroom suite for our family to stay in, and we had a ton of space. Having 2 full bathrooms was the best part! We will definitely stay there again if we visit San Diego.

Homewood Suites never disappointed my family, we all enjoyed this property very much! Only minor issue was we booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, but we didn't get all rooms with bay view which supposed to be. We got 3 rooms on different floor which hard for me to take care the senior family members. Overall speaking, we will return to this location for our future San Diego trip.

Really enjoyed staying for a week with family (including toy poodle). Everyone at the property was very kind. We enjoyed breakfast and cooking in our room. Worried about construction noise but that was manageable. Pool was great. We loved our time here. Thank you!!

The shower in our room didn't drain properly and ended up near the closet outside of the bathroom which was also tiled but made us concerned. Also the property was in the process of remodeling on the 3rd and 4th floor and the first room we received was on the 2nd floor, the noise was unbearable so we moved rooms to the 1st floor. Great location, bad timing for our stay.

Very convenient, pool and jacuzzi is a plus, agents are nice, renovation and hall ways smell funny and little noisy especially the AC but over all pretty decent breakfast can improve not much choices

What a fun place to stay! We walked from the airport and did without a car (and SD traffic!!) with our 4 young kids and it was great at this location. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back! We’ve travelled to SD many times before and this was a TOP stay for family!

The area was beautiful. Breakfast was great. Quick drive to most things we wanted to see. The only downfall was having to pay for parking.

Great 6 night stay! Even though part of the property was under renovation we barely even noticed. Nice rooms, pool, staff, pretty area by the bay. Only downside-could have used a few more kitchen items. Would totally stay here again!

Nice location near the airport and near restaurants. At the time we stayed the hotel was doing renovations in the lobby and rooms which was not a problem for us. Only thing I don’t like is they charge you for parking.

Stayed in the south building facing the water. Didn’t realize this was right next to the basketball court. Listening to a ball bouncing till 9:30-10 o’clock 2 of 3 nights we stayed was a little irritating. But over all the room was nice. Zero usb ports but the hotel is going thru a remodel so maybe they will have some soon.

Construction was being done. I was sent a message a day before check in. Which is an inconvenience to deal with construction on vacation. Makes it feel like the business is all about making money and not care about customer service.

Property was under construction.The property star rating reflects that. This property exceeded my expectations as far as what I expected . It was a perfect place to entertain 3 teenagers and a 3yo. There was something for everyone. The kitchen he wasn’t stocked fully(missing sponge, not enough utensils etc ), however we appreciated being able to book last minute.

The location is great, easy to get to everything we wanted to do in the San Diego area. The room was really nice - and freshly updated. Parking was expensive. The hotel is still undergoing construction which I didn't know about until after booking. It was a little bit of hassle at times - slow busy elevators, lack of access to stairs, laundry facilities out of order, noise, messes, parking area congestions. Overall it wouldn't stop me from choosing this hotel again.

Parking 21 dollars per night is ridiculous , that will be the only reason for not returning in the future . Otherwise our stay was awesome , they had renovation going on but that didn’t bother us at all . Staff very friendly and helpful . Breakfast was okay,needs variety . The area has a lot of shops and restaurants walking distance . The outdoors are super .

Wow! Fantastic staff, room, and location. My son and I stayed in a 2-bedroom suite, which was absolutely perfect for us. The staff was so friendly and helpful and we felt right at home! Loved this place!

When i booked in April i had no idea they were remodeling. Of course when we arrived the only place they were working was on the 4th floor-one floor above where we were located. From 9am to sometimes 7pm they were working. Glad we had plans during the day. It would have been impossible to stay in the room to rest during the day. The last night we were there water started dripping from the ceiling. Other than that, the suite and amenities were acceptable.

Great beautiful hotel with outstanding gardens surrounding the hotel. The pool was beautiful and awesome breakfast. I was surprised by the size and spaciousness of the room. Will be back!

The property has a great potential. It is slowly getting renovated and updated. I am sure one day soon will be great. Right now is an eclectic mix of old beat up furniture and some contemporary items in the rooms. The front desk staff is very courteous and helpful. The conditions of the rooms we were in definitely deserve some refund.
