We loved the updated and modern rooms! We were located right next to the elevator, vending machine, and the ice maker so everything was super convenient for us! Also the neighborhood around it is so cute. We will probably stay here again

Nicely updated hotel. Clean room, nice balcony/seating area to eat outside, free parking. Close to restaurants, venues, shopping, and more.

Loved staying at Beck’s! A retro motel feel with modern finishes. Free parking is first come first serve but I was able to get it with my stay and never had issues. Will definitely stay here again!

Love it for what it is

We were here for surgery at UCSF hospital. It was only a mile away. Staff found a room on the first floor so patient wouldn’t have to climb stairs or ride elevator. They were very accommodating and friendly and full of information regarding where we could eat or shop for snacks. Room was big enough for 3 people and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

This place is a gem and I cannot wait to come back! We had a lovely king room that was nestled in the back, so very private and quiet. Walkable to the best of the Castro dining and nightlife. I had so much fun that I lost my phone in an Uber and the front desk employee was SO helpful when I called the desk and explained my situation. He actually got me in touch with Uber customer service as well as Samsung to help me locate my device. I was blown away by that! Thank you for the excellent hospitality!

Very clean, sterile.There was no shower cap or lotion. The King size bed was very comfortable-we have stayed here many times before and will keep coming back!

I really enjoyed my stay at Beck’s. Yes, it is a motel, so the walls are thin and your view is probably going to be of the parking lot. But - the rooms have been nicely updated and are in very good condition. Decor is minimal, but room contained everything I needed, and I have to say the shower was spectacular. The location of the property is perfect, with a zillion restaurants, cafes and shops within the surrounding two blocks, plus virtuo all MUNI metro lines. The property is well-maintained, rooms are reasonably priced, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I will definitely be staying here again.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay here at Becks hotel. Rooms are clean. Parking is free that’s a plus. Restaurants are walking distance. I definitely recommend staying here at Becks. I’ll stay here again.

Free parking bargain! Very good value, public transport links across the road, maps and toiletries provided, tea/coffee was a bonus however paper cups were rubbish.

Good location and space.

It was clean, updated, comfortable, and the shower was amazing. I would stay here again without question. The hotel is also in an area where they are a lot of quality restaurant options. This one is a winner!

Chill great location now much improved

The room was noisy and you can hear the road traffic noise from your room with the small gap underneath your door facing the street.

Great location. No hassle with the parking nor additional fees. Walkable to restaurants, bars, subway transportation.

We’re happy to make this our base for two nights exploring SF. It was in a clean, accessible area. We arrived later (8 pm or so) on a Friday and there were still a few parking spots available but they are first come, first served. The guarded parking was a relief to us and the front desk was so helpful with helping us use public transport and map details.

I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated. The dining options were amazing. We ate at the Wooden Spoon, the Kitchen Story, the Mediterranee, Le Marais… I will come back!

Loved our stay at Becks. In town visiting and wanted to be near the Castro district. This was a great choice. Rooms were clean and appeared to be recently renovated. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was awesome, large and choice of rainfall shower head or hand held shower head. Also had a nice outdoor patio area with background music. Our room had a refrigerator and coffee maker with Pete’s coffee sugar and coffee mate creamer (nice touch). The motel is located within walking distance to several bars and restaurants. Also has free parking which is hard to find. The parking lot was large and could accommodate quite a few cars. We felt safe in the area and at the motel. The only con (which wasn’t a problem for us) may be the traffic noise and/or the sound from the room next to you, the walls are thin and TV/conversation/traffic noise can be heard. I thought the ear plugs located in the bathroom was a nice touch. None of the sound was an issue for our stay. If needing a stay near the Castro I totally recommend Becks and I will be staying there my next visit.

I loved this place! Free parking! Easy checkin! Clean and simple and affordable stay in a great pocket of the city. I will be back for sure.

Just very pleasantly surprised with the great condition of the property. Early evenings were a bit noisy but I never had any issues sleeping.
