I was woken up at 6 am by staff loudly chatting outside my window. The hotel is old and anyone walking above makes loud creaks. There are also loud noises whenever someone in another room flushes the toilet.

Hotel is having a makeover which is a good thing, but even with paying an upcharge for a new room it’s advertised as a super king room which we thought included a larger bed. It was still only a double. The room was quite small but the bathroom shower was a nice size but toiletries were very basic. Also just a tiny shelf to put things. Air conditioning was also advertised but then you get told to pay an extra £10:00. The pillows were nice but the mattress is a bit too soft. Also the pool looked a little cloudy and dingy and there was a hose with running hot water just stuck in the pool unattended. Would have hated for a child to have grabbed it. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Stayed with my 3year old daughter while using the pool a guest filmed my self and daughter swimming I reported to manager whom didn’t care and said he would kick me out the hotel for kicking off about the lack of safeguarding done stay if you have young children

Happy with size of room and clean we asked for couple bits as in a lamp and in a flash it was there nothing was to much trouble. The stay was very enjoyable thank you

The room was very nice. However, the hotel is going through a major refurbishment. The room i stayed in, had just been refurbished, the room smelt so strong of paint, it gave me a headache. As it had just been refurbished, i would have thought in this day and age, air conditioning would be a standard thing, however, not the case.
The caberet bar looked nice, but smelled very strong of damp / mould. All in all a very disappointing visit.

The hotel was clean and secure but the room was very very hot. I went cheap and got a single room but the bed was boxed in on 3 sides and I couldn’t stretch out at all. When I checked in all the windows were closed which is weird considering it was a hot day. The room was a sweat box!!

The king bed we’d booked and paid for had not been attached properly and separated in the middle. The shower took forever to heat up. The room was small and squashed. There was no signal. Staff started off dismissive but warmed quickly and were very nice in the end. The pool was very small and the one time we tried to use it it quickly filled up with a lot of people, some were breaking the rules that were clearly stated on the sign, and there was no hot tub or sauna.

We had a 3 night stay.. In a family room.. We asked to change to a different room the following morning... Very old rooms wallpaper hanging off loose bathroom floor tiles..
If we wanted a better room we had to pay £60 extra
Plus as we booked through hotels. Com we got charged for parking £21..

Nice hotel stayed in one of the new rooms lovely decorated, pool was nice, has 2 bars and entertainment on the evening, breakfast was nice, nothing to complain about

Stayed in a refurbished room, was nicely decorated and very clean. Bed and pillows were too soft for me but that’s just my preference. Breakfast was good. Pool was clean and the kids enjoyed the long opening hours for it.

Very large hotel .Only 1.side of building caters for disabled. Only1 lift in certain part oog hotel, so not catered for disabled with mobility problems .excellent service from all staff .

Made to feel so welcome and it does make all the difference - nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Exceptionally clean room and the fan helped greatly with the heat we were experiencing. Very much appreciated the hot tub after a long day trekking around the coastline. The hotel had quite a bit to offer in terms of entertainment.

Nice hotel in good location. Unfortunately our stay was a little spoilt due to guests above our room banging throughout the night which woke us up and then up most of the night arguing.
View wasn’t very nice as it’s a building site. But understandable as they are expanding. Should be nice when it’s finished.

The hotel is upgrading its rooms and I was offered an upgrade. Food was excellent, very well prepared and the beef was delicious 😋. Excellent value for money.

The Riviera was a lovely place to stay. Me and my Son stayed for two nights. Our room was massive, the beds were very comfortable and the whole hotel was very clean. We had breakfast there both days which was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a pool and jacuzzi which we used every day. The location is five minutes walk to the beach and town. There was entertainment on every night and a big sports bar with a pool table and darts. I would highly recommend staying here and will Definitely be booking again in the summer.

At breakfast I found mold in the jam.
