I was attracted to this place due to the its location. Simply is next to the city mall where you can get good restaurants, shops and other entertainments.

Hotel is located a few metres from a number of malls. However, parking space inside the hotel premises is limited to 4 vehicles only. Also, the chef needs to get off his phone and step up as his dishes were mediocre.

I booked accommodation with PrideInn Hotel Nyali, paid Ksh30,264 for a junior suite for two nights. When i arrived at the hotel, they told me they were fully booked and didn't have any rooms. They then transferred me to a different hotel across the city in some smelly neighbourhood. They booked me in a standard room. The room was dirty, bedsheets had blood stains. After checking out I realised that the hotel they transferred me to was only costing them Ksh11,000 for the two nights. Meaning they had stolen Ksh19,264 from me.

It is well located in the Nyali area, near the malls and the main Mombasa Malindi Road.
However, it is difficult to justify '5 mins to the beach' as there is no access

Nice pool area.
Bathroom was dirty, especially around toilet. Safe didn't work. Only one towel. Front desk staff, one lady in particular, was not particularly friendly but the security was and also the dinning staff was.

Nothing to talk home about . The rooms were very tiny. The bed was not comfortable.

Hotel has very poor amenities we got a small room and noisy fans, AC has no remote. Bathrooms with no Toiletries. Wasted money. not good for Holiday stays.

The facilities are not good enough to my standards; nevertheless, the personnel of the Hotel is fantastic, all of them are kind, warm and helpful, if I come back there will be because of them not because of the hotel.

Grounds are beautiful with tons of potential. Staff can be attentive and very helpful. In a nice tucked in location close to restaurants, shopping malls and night clubs.The rooms are a bit dated and some in need of updating (exposed rusting pipes in bathroom stalls). Security is also an issue. Windows do not lock which a high security risk in my opinion. All in all, the location is great and a few needed repairs can definitely raise the standards of this beautiful hotel.

There was power outage from 1am till 6am
and Mombasa was extremely warm, this made my night unbearable, no air con.

Location allowed access to most activities without being in the rush of mid-city mayhem. Plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Friendly, helpful staff and reasonably good security.

For a start, the hotel is not in Nyali proper, it's between Nyali and Bamburi in a dodgy area. The hotel itself looks more like a motel and hasn't seen any investment in decades. The pool is tiny and between the car park, rooms and check in desk, overlooked by everyone.
Onto my room. Sparse and basic are the words that come to mind. My room had one curtain, a window that didn't lock properly, a fan that was hanging from the ceiling by a thread. The bathroom was beyond basic.
This is the worst hotel I have stayed in, worse than any hostel in Asia.

the hotel location is very good, out of Mombasa near to all utilities you need the beach is 30 minutes walking, the mall near to the hotel, the heller park 200 m, the entertainments around you... honestly, the hotel is fantastic anyway.

the hotel is on the outskirts of the city in an upscale community, but 2 blocks away from the bus line and one block from a shopping mall and about 150 yards from an ATM, quite a very quiet community, with a 30 minute walk to the Indian ocean, very serene, isolated and quaint community. Perfect for "love-birds"!
