I like how the area was quiet and peaceful. Also, I like how the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Beds were like sleeping on a rock, other than that staff were great! Parkings abit annoying ( first in first served )

Staff were lovely, rooms were really nice with heater already on making the room warm straight away when you get in. Shared bathrooms weren’t as bad as I thought everyone was nice and good to chat too. Bathrooms were always cleaned daily. Place is easily walking into town and transport to clubs and bars, Less than 10 minutes. Was a lovely stay with what it was per night. :)

Pleasent helpful staff and affordable clean accommodation

The place is great to stay as it near to the queenstown shopping centre. We stayed at the Villa and we are satisfied with the amenities of the place.

Pinewood was a good find in Queenstown. Nice size room, comfortable beds, super clean and less than 10 min walk to the CBD. The place is really quiet and has a beautiful view of the mountains. My only complaint is about the reception. The person who made my check-in and check out was amazing! Super kind and informative, but on my third night, I needed to renew my wifi password (changes every 3 days), so I went to the reception at 8pm and a rude staff told me they were already close and that I needed to come back in the next day ( supposed be 10pm). She gave me the password, because I insisted a little bit, but with a really angry face.

Property is situated 10 minutes walk from town center. It is quiet and beautiful. The staff in reception nice and accommodating, especially Ku. The only challenge I had was the room doors slam and creak. Walls are thin. It would do them well to space guests further apart when possible to avoid noise issues. Otherwise nice stay. Good cafe nearby with trail up the gondola mountain!

It was a terrible choice to stay there as the locks on the door were nonfunctional. We believed everything would be okay, but in the middle of the night, a stranger entered the room and quickly left upon seeing two people already inside. I felt completely unsafe. The next morning at 7 o'clock, there was a disturbance in the hallway as people were fighting and causing damage, waking us up ( but besides it was good stay very clean and staff was wonderful )

Expensive for fairly shabby lodging.

Location is walkable to the town. Room is small, we booked for three people, buy the room is prepared for two people, no daily room cleaning service, I have to ask towels, toilet paper, mugs from the office. 4/2 midnight fire alarm go no explanation. We still don't know what is the cause.

The showers did not drain properly, causing water to fill in the shower and overflow outside the shower.

Nice and close for walking to and from town/activities

There is insufficient car parking for clients. We were told it would be first in forst served. If you dont get a park good luck finding one close by. The fire alarm went off atv2 in the morning and our building plus one other were vacated. No one turned up, no fire department, police or management. The fire brigade did arrive later after a customer called them. If it had been a real emergency the buildings would have burned down. Several customers and families remained locked out of their rooms after the fire alarm was turned off and it took an hour of waiting in the cold until someone turned up to let them in again. This resulted in a very poor nights sleep. Management and staff did not even offer an apology. I reccomend you stay somewhere else, we wont go back.

Nice location and clean

Close to CBD. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great value.

Avoid the pinewood lodge. A case of stuffing the maximum number of people into as small a space as possible. Most cheap lodgings have redeeming factors, this doesn't. Almost a case of misadvertising. 13 people on a tiny kitchen and no storage space. Shell out a few extra dollars to stay elsewhere, or save a but more and stay in a cheaper place, I doubt it'll be worse.

Handy location near to city centre.

I appreciate I didn't pay a lot for my private cabin, but it had really seen better days with peeling paint and warped walls. Can be quite noisy if you're next to a communal block, so recommend earplugs. Bed was comfy and clean at least, so that's a plus. Parking is quite limited, so be mindful that if you leave the property to go on a day trip with your car you're very unlikely to have that spot again!

Friendly staff and availability of fully equipped kitchen

The room was very small with no seats to sit. Very small bathroom and the toilet would keep running . Kettle was too tiny, could barely get it under the bathroom sink. Would not stay here again for the high peice they charged.

Clean and tidy, nice communal area/kitchen/lounge with everything we could need except a small pot 😂

Did not let us check in on time and kept us waiting for hours.

Really like the proximity to Queenstown this lodge is located!
