The hotel was a great B&B. The landlady was marvellous. Rooms comfortable, warm and very clean. Breakfast was as you'd imagine. I would stay here again

very clean and convenient for sea front and central.
Room was quite small but all was good for our two night stop over. Nice comfy bed and en suite shower .Well thought out colour scheme and nice thick clean comfy carpet.
Breakfast was yummy. Hot.Fresh, Well cooked and nothing to much trouble for the hosts WOULD STRONGLY RECCOMEND .

Lisa and mark were very welcoming. Lisa took her time to ask us what we would like for breakfast the following morning she was very polite

We loved everything about this property, it had a homely atmosphere, the new owners were extremely helpful and accommodating for our little lady, its close to the seafront and local amenities. It was the perfect place to stay...Thank you Mark and Lisa for making my birthday trip so easy, and for looking after us, we will definitely stay with you again :-)

Lovely check in. Staff were all organised and ready for our arrival. They were polite and friendly and the room was lovely, comfortable and clean

I was under the impression our room was en suite but upon arrival found it was across the hall.
mattress was in need of replacing. Breakfast was excellent and hosts extremely friendly and accommodating.

Only down fall for this hotel was finding a parking spot,we did manage to get on pay and display accross the road £8 for 48hours,owners of hotel only taken over 8wks ago,freindly welcome,and wth it just been the two of them,their doing a great job,we paid for breakfast on the day,lovely full cooked English Breakfast and Sausage Sandwiches for the kids,our room was at the top but it had everything we needed,only downfall was the memory foam mattress,personnal taste though,Great Stay

This is the second time we have stopped here ,it's in a great location ,clean and tidy with nice friendly owners .
Parking is available just across the road at reasonable rates .We have been happy both times and will stay again .

it is quiet and nice small hotel, the olny thing is sometimes you can hear the water pipe sound.

Five mins and you are by the beach, shops or bars.
Staff were really friendly and welcoming and relaxed

Just returned from our first stop at the Franklyn Hotel and it won't be our lasts! Nothing was too much trouble for the friendley owners(Iain and Karen,they certainly went the extra mile to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
