When i booked my room was given one price when i checked out was charged a different price

After being stuck on I-80 for over 6 hours due to a multi-car accident, I decided to stop for the night. After comparing costs and reviews for several hotels, I chose Quality Inn because of their good ratings, reasonable price, and their advertised pet-friendly policy, which was important as I was traveling with my cat.
However, when I arrived to check in around 10 PM, I was told they do not allow cats—even though their site advertised that pets were welcome. To make matters worse, because I had booked through a third-party site and it was past the check-in time, I was unable to cancel my reservation.
This false advertising cost me $79—money I could not afford to lose, as I was already on a tight budget for this trip. The experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Hotels need to ensure their policies are clear and accurate to avoid situations like this.

Room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was hot and well stocked.

This was the worse hotel i ever stayed.
The carpet dirty, the handle on the bathroom wasn’t working, the beds were uncomfortable and the worse!! it gave me skin rash.

One of the rooms we had the door wouldn’t lock, room was filthy, not a good experience at all.

Bathroom was ok but the towels had stains on them and the washcloths they looked dirty. It was gross. No Kleenex the box was left empty.
No bag for dirty laundry.

The first night we got there, we had to change our comforter because there was blood on it in 2 different spots. The bed cover was dirty as well.
The bed was okay and the breakfast was okay. They didnt have much drink options for non coffee drinkers and there werent many options for food.

The staff at this hotel were the rudest, nastiest employees I have ever encountered while staying at a hotel. I spend 320 nights a year in a hotel...so that really says something. Would not recommend at all. My stay was August 30 to 31.

Quiet and nice bed/ room was clean /but toilet would have run all night if I hadn’t done a quick fix/ torn blackout curtain’s were unfixable/ I mentioned at the front desk at checkoo

We do like this hotel but the room we had this time had a few things that need fixing. The faucet would only do super hot water, couldn’t get it to change to cold. Also the AC kept going off and on and was super loud. Room wasn’t cold enough

The shower didn’t get clean because there was hair on the wall, and there was still in the food in the fridge from the previous person , the air conditioner did not work and there is no microwave

A light in the bathroom was flickering. I should have said something, but I assume the cleaning staff would have reported it. The air condition was stuck on high speed. Turning to low had no effect.
It had a simple but clean breakfast bar. Most of the time eggs & sausage during my 5 day stay. The young lady keeping it clean & stocked did a nice job.

They put us in a room that was in another separate building and the building looked like it needed work inside and out. The rooms were not very nice or updated. The faucet was falling apart. Old carpet. Worn out. Not a nice place to stay but as a quick over night, it’s fine. Breakfast was not great either. Very limited. I had the eggs and they were a weird texture that was gross. It was adequate.

Night shift was friendly and helpful. My room was not part of the main building which is fine, but the door into the 2nd building was broken and there were a lot of people walking around inside… (not sure if the had rooms or not) but it made it felt a little sketchy. My room was very awkwardly ginormous and empty…. The AC worked amazingly! If I am through this area, I would prolly stay here again.

It's a place to stop and sleep if you have too. I wouldn't call it a vacation stop. Door to outside didn't lock that lead to the rooms, hair in the shower on the wall and floor. Trim and doors were dirty. Area around it is sub par kinda, breakfast was average but cold. Although I will say the beds were comfy.
