Stayed in House Sangkuriang, Silingwangi room with my girlfriend for 4 nights and we had the best stay. Our room was the top (room402) and so far the heavy traffic doesnt bother us. And yes, theres Lizard and insects came into our room but the hotel staff was very nice to help us out on that. Its just that the water heater sometimes does not work. The breakfast was really good. The Room Service, some food were too salty or too spicy but the sirloin steak were great. We dont really use the Hotel Facilities so we dont have any reviews on that. And the Minibars were really great. Love those snacks that they provide us. And although they had no safe box but it was completely safe because i forgotten my phone and its still safe in the hotel. But overall, it is still acceptable for me. Thank you for the hospitality House Sangkuriang!

Need to fix tv. Ac at night was blowing hard and cold but low on day time. The room look dark.after that overall is good. I like specialy the staff were polite and helpful.thank you

Good location, near Dago area for shopping and dining. Siliwangi room best choice view and space not noisy cause near crowded Street

We love house of sangkuriang, specially the backyard pool area for chat and eat session. We also like the pillow.

Clean room (Siliwangi Room), but toilet flooring is a little slippery (dangerous especially for kids and elderly).The room has a sofa area for eating. They provide iron only but without the board. Very friendly hotel staff.

It was alright, the first room when we entered, the bed was dirty and damp but the receptionist was happy to change it straight away. Room was small but good. Wi-Fi was a bit unstable.

The design of the hotel is as close as you feel like you belong there. The hotel staffs are welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. A highly recommended place to stay for relatives or friends in the near future.

I love the art deco vibes at House Sangkuriang. The location itself is strategic yet affordable. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Enough space for my son to play at our room. And the food is delicious :)

I stayed here for two nights. The location was very convenient for me as I had meetings 5 minutes away at LIPI. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. The day I arrived I realised (late!) that travel adaptor I had would not fit the plug sockets. The staff were quick to lend me one that worked. Food and room service were good. There was always complimentary mineral water, beverages and chips in the room. One downside, the hotel overlooks a busy road and though I find that comforting (seriously!!) some people might not. Overall a good place to spend time in Bandung.

Hotel was far from expectation. extra bed was basically a spring mattress which was placed on the floor, not the expected folding bed. room was facing the street, traffic noise can be very loud even with the blackout curtains drawn and door closed. bath mat was also dirty, just like the room kettle.

We had also a bad experience during dinner time with my family in the pool side, which is a really good site to get the fresh air, but other guest very selfishly smoking even after we asked very politely to stop smoking since there were pregnant woman and children in that area, but they refused to stop smoking. I really recommend the hotel to make separate area for smoking person, since non smoking person have also the right to get the fresh air.

I booked House Sangkuriang based on a recommendation from a colleague whose family comes from Bandung. I arranged the trip for fieldwork and touring with seven of my colleagues The hotel was ideally located to visit the nearby ITB, but still easy to drive out of town and see the volcanoes. The staff was friendly, professional, and responsive with our changing reservations and specific requests. We only ate in the hotel one night, but the food was good. We were also able to walk to nearby restaurants and cafés. The rooms were clean, fairly quiet and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for either business or leisure.

The staff is certainly multi-tasking and has great attitude towards servicing customers. Room condition is bad when we first checked in as the aircon is not working, the bathroom has no door and we got to change our room on the first night. Thereafter the stay was made very pleasant by the serving staff and I almost forgot about the non-working aircon in the first room!
