I loved the Monte Carlo I stayed for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday June 28 2024 and it was amazing the balcony with beautiful ocean views the free bottle of wine the spacious rooms clean smelling good the bed was like hugging me so comfortable I can't say enough thank you so much😘

The rooms were very clean and the staff were very responsive-as well as valet parking.

Great location right on the beach. Clean and updated.

We had a lovely corner condo owned by the property mgt co. Stocked with beach and bath towels. Kitchen pots and pans very scratched and not safe to cook with IMO. The tray of snacks were perfect. The balcony gave us a beautiful view. The w/d let us clean towels each night for the beach. Easy to get chairs and umbrella. Drinks and food on the beach from the cafe next door. Pricey but convenient. No one enforced the no smoking law which was disappointing. Several of the machines in the gym were broken and it was closed the last two days of our stay. Desk staff polite and helpful. Very easy to buy late checkout to match our departing flight. We would go back.

The check in process was easy, friendly front desk / valet parking staff. The apartment was absolutely gorgeous, clean and fully equipped. The building and common areas were in very good shape. I definitely recommend this place. The Miami Vacations staff were also very professional. 10 out of 10 I'll book again soon.

Nice ocean view at the ocean beach front apartments. Was quite windy though, not sure how often that is the case.

The dryer is broken and get repaired. The refrigerator and air conditioner are old and noisy. 1 of the ceiling lights in the dining area doesn’t work

Sauna is horrible, does not heat up, and only 2 Keys per room is stupid, I had 4 adults. How stupid can they be? 4 adults, 2 keys max. Got stuck without keys to use the facility. Never again. Stupid management

Enjoyed my stay.

We have stayed at the Monte Carlo several times over the years. The property overall is beautiful and right on the beach with a Publix grocery store a short walk away. The units are individually owned and this is where the big difference comes in. The one we stayed at this time was owned by Miami Vacations. It was spacious and had nice partial ocean views. However, there was black mold in the shower, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable with a hard bar running down the middle and there were not enough supplies for our stay. For example no dish towels are provided, just one small single ply roll of paper towel for a 10 day stay. The supplies were so minimal it seemed they don’t expect you to use the kitchen or the bathroom and you are responsible for your own replenishments. The part that bothered me the most was we requested additional bedding and pillows on our first night to try and make the sofa bed more comfortable (we are a family of 4 so two people had to sleep on it). They said no, we counted the bedding in that room and you have enough. We had to go out and buy a large comforter to sleep on top of, to make that bed less terrible. The dishwasher stopped working after a few days. A little bit of effort from the owners to accommodate guests would go a long way. The rest of the property is well taken care of and beautiful with two pools and a nice gym. The beach comes with chairs and umbrellas for guests. We might stay here again but not in units owned by Miami vacations.

Property personnel were excellent. Front desk and valet were very helpful and very personable.

Greeting was very terrible. Did not welcoming me as a guest in their own home. Told me to just sign papers and didn’t even explain to me what I was signing. Room temperature kept getting hot and it was suppose to be 72• cool but left out and came back room was at 82•. I did like the gym and hot tub. Late nights coming in workers were just sitting around and no one was at the desk. Phones also didn’t work to contact front desk and also no room services lever came around to clean or offered anything needed.

Nice vacation location for families. Restaurants, drug store and grocery store nearby. Hotel is on the beach. Balcony has nice side view of the ocean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property and rooms were very nice. I had the full ocean view room and it was beautiful. I did find a good bit of some small bugs some alive and some dead. I feel they should bomb the units on occasions. Very homey vibe which I liked. Minus the bugs, I would still stay here again. I do wish they had faster communication via email. In addition I asked for white wine in advance and I got red. I had the VIP option and I was unable to fully use which was disappointing. I never even opened the red wine.

The hotel room pictures were misleading. The room was advertised as having a partial sea view, but the reality was quite different. Instead of the beautiful view shown in the pictures, we faced the building next door throughout our stay. If you leaned over the balcony and looked to the right, you could catch a glimpse of the sea, but that was about it. I recommend the hotel to post the actual pictures of the room that the customer is booking to avoid confusion. The more significant problem was that the next-door neighbor's balcony was incredibly close to ours, which made the situation awkward. Imagine walking out on the balcony, and two people are staring at you, closer than a hug's distance. It was beyond uncomfortable. Every time we were there, they were there. We could hear their conversations, and they could hear ours. Privacy fence anyone? The hotel staff was something else! We were extremely dissatisfied with their service, they literally ruined the vacation. It wasn't just bad customer service, it was non-existent. I have received better customer service at international customs but no joking. Don’t get me wrong; we weren’t expecting them to have a heartfelt communication with us, but a smile, a welcome or a bye! Nothing! You just get stared down I swear I had better service at an international customs, but no joking I would not recommend this hotel, until at least they get better customer service so you don’t go to sleep thinking the front desk will blow the place up

This is one of the old original hotels built in North Miami Beach during the late 1940s. It has been updated nicely and was pleasant to stay in. There are restaurants and a grocery store close by and it sits on the pedestrian walk along the beach. The location utilized modern security measures for entry and elevator access to the residential floors. I would stay here again.

This place is a paradise on earth. We enjoyed every second spent here. The apartment was huge with two smart TVs, a balcony, and all kitchen appliances. The hotel is clean, featuring two amazing pools—one large and great for swimming, and the other smaller one right next to a hot tub for cooling off. The only downside is that the area around the hotel doesn't offer many food options. However, our room was so nice that we didn't really want to go out much. I usually don’t like to go to the same place twice but I will definitely go to this place again.

The location was great. The listing said. City view. Well, I’d be careful calling the back of buildings with dumpsters ‘City view’ There was a water leak in the kitchen that couldn’t be repaired. But was clean and comfortable otherwise

Customer service is horrible. Staff is constantly on their cell phones. Receptionist was busy eating when I greeted her in the morning and was told by her that she didn’t bother greeting since she had a mouth full. Ma’am aren’t you suppose to be working? Don’t stay here if you appreciate hospitality. The guests are their last priority here. The place is beautiful so it’s unfortunate we can’t recommend this place to friends and family. Expedia please warn people before they book or take them off your list.
