The rooms have been updated to some degree but the place shows a lot of signs of aging. The breaker flipped in our room when the hair dryer and coffee machine were used at once. Service was excellent and my kids raved about the fresh croissants each morning. We didn't get an opportunity to use the e-bikes but it's an excellent option as Victoria is so bike-friendly!

What they call Tobin Hood Inns and Suites is in fact a motel, known in the area as the Robin Hood Motel. It is far from Downtown, in an area not so safe (as explained to us by the cab drivers who took us from and to the place). Breakfast was a joke. I will never go to that place again.

From the outer appearance, I questioned my selection of hotel. My wife and I surprised how clean the room were. The staff was really friendly. We glad we chose this hotel. We will gladly stay here again in the future. Thank you.

We stayed for 3 nights recently. My family was quite happy about the room and the breakfast! Room was very clean, and we really appreciated the updated bathrooms/showers. If I could spend all day in a shower, I would choose that one.
The E-bikes are a really nice touch. My daughter and I had a nice ride out to View Royal and back in the early evening.
Breakfast was great, especially the croissants! Maybe hide to pool que sticks during breakfast time. My daughter got gouged by a que stick during breakfast.
I know the RHI&S has been there for quite some time. I really appreciated the discussion I had with the lead maintenance person during breakfast. (Sorry, I forgot his name, but he was helpful/friendly) The place does need an exterior facelift, but not too much. You want to maintain the history of the place.

Room was clean and ready when we arrived. The A/C was a portable and on the louder side so we would have to shut it off at night. We did use the discount offered for the butterfly gardens which was really nice. For breakfast the options were limited and they would run out of warm items quickly. Overall it was really central and easy to get in and out of.

The Robin Hood is a great pad if you are looking for a place in a safe and generally quiet area; a place to lay your weary head after a long day of exploring the city; a place that offers the bare bones basics at a very reasonable rate. No fancy amenities here but I sought this place out specifically so I wouldn’t be tempted to lounge around at some spiffy hotel pool. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and also found the bed to be very comfortable and slept well each night I stayed. P.S., the window mounted A/C intermittently causing my room lights to flicker was genuinely hilarious albeit for none of the right reasons

We felt the room was great, clean and roomy for a remodelled older motel style property. The shower qith a scenery photo gives it a really fun feel. Best part was the extras ....electric bikes, pool table and great room

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size with updated fixtures and plenty of hot water. The only inconvenience was that we had to turn off all other electrical equipment to use the blow dryer or coffee pot. We were conservative with the electricity but with one lamp on every time the AC kicked on the lamp would flicker. The Great Room with the continental breakfast was nice and accommodating with books, sofas, plenty of tables and chairs plus a pool table.

Although a very old "MOTEL" The location was perfect and if the road in front of the Robin hood was under construction it would have been very quiet and convenient to get into town
