Very pleasantly surprised with our stay here. We stopped in for a night before we drove further up north and the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. My only complaint is there was an adjoining door to the room next to ours and whoever was in that room kept opening there end and trying to open our door and slamming theirs shut which resulted in waking my child a couple times at night, which is totally not the hotels fault at all! Otherwise a great stop along the way further north.

I called the hotel a week before to reserve a first floor room due to my husband having ankle surgery. They confirmed a first floor. At check in, they gave us a second floor room. They don't have elevators. We were told all of the first floor rooms are occupied and they couldn't do anything. They said I can try another hotel. I told them I called them a week earlier and a first floor was confirmed. Had it not been confirmed a week ago I would have cancelled before the refund deadline and booked at another hotel. After 30 minutes of the front desk making phone calls, they somehow came up with a first floor room (after we were told their wasn't anything available). The room ended up having ants in the bathroom and the toilet didn't work properly. The breakfast was the same every day, waffles and sausage. We stayed at this hotel in the past but will never book here again.

Outside is really cute. The inside needs updates. Mattress was hard. Room needed to be repainted. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay. The room was clean which was important to us. For the price we have stayed in much worse hotels.

Room was very well maintained and clean. We found the mattress uncomfortable.

We’ve stayed at Cedar Hill Lodge almost every time we’ve visited Saint Ignace, and we are never disappointed. Rooms are welcoming with custom-painted cedar trees on the walls. Heated pool, hot tub, and campfire pits (with free wood) available to use. Breakfast served as well. Overall great value!

This was our fourth year in a row stating this night. Consistency is their best feature. It has always been a wonderful experience. They have a great staff who care about their customers. This year we forgot a pillow when we left. We called 10 hours later and asked I'd they had found it. They had, and saved it for us to pick up when we went back through a few days later. WE WILL BE BACK TO STAY AGAIN!

The breakfast and pool area were clean and nice. The room carpet had large stains, the a/c filter was completely clogged, the shower didn’t drain so I had ankle deep water every time I showered. I reported the drain to the front desk and they said they would fix it. They did not fix it. Also no daily room cleaning or towel replacement. Overall I’d probably stay here again but don’t expect much

Someone was partying outside my room and broke glass everywhere. was very concerned oabout my service dog getting glass in her feet
