Secure room, hot shower, Great staff. Perfect for the cost.

Really dirty

Room was in a poor state with very tired mattress, bed side light not working and hardly any water coming out of the taps. While budget accommodation, I would not recommend staying in the single room I was given and represented poor value. The communal shower was also not great, although was warm enough.

Firstly thought it was a private bathroom just to be told no private bathrooms in any of the 3 bed rooms. It stunk not a very nice smell. Taps in the sink in bedroom wobbled and did not work properly. Went to the one of the bathrooms and there was water or pee but it was coloured round the toilet and brown stains on back of the toilet. It looked tired and old looking and looked as though it needed spruced up a bit, well probably alot really. Beds were ok but with the planes going over was still noicy with the window even shut. Me and my husband waited to we got back home to have shower next day. Did not feel clean using it at the hotel. Will not be back or recommend it to anybody else. The worst property i have ever stopped at and we are not usually fussy people either x

Property is quite worn out. Bedroom and bathroom to very basic condition. Front desk attitude is basic level, not warm welcoming. Not rude at all.

The staff were great and welcoming, and the breakfast was decent and very good value for money. Not the hotels fault but there was loads of noise and commotion until about midnight with paper thin walls, so if you're expecting an easy and early nights sleep perhaps review your expectations!

Shower didn't work.

Friendly & helpful staff. Great location if you are attending the cricket. Decent pubs in walking distance.

The receptionist was lovely. The hotel is disgusting, filthy and in dire need of updating.

Probably the worst hotel i have ever stayed at, before we were given our room in a basement we were greeted with a unreal stench of weed throughout the property, the decor was straight from the roaring 20s which i think was definately the last time it had a hoover ran over it and stains everywhere, wallpaper hanging off with damp and mould under it, cobwebs and built up dust in every square inch of the place, pubic hair over the bed sheet, and the best is yet too come as me and the wife didnt dare have a shower the next day to wash away the filth as the light fitting was inside the shower cubicle, unbelievable, didnt think at my age (30) i would ever be playing the floor is lava game but the thought of anything from that carpet touching my foot was making me gip, the wooden window in the corner of our room had a gaping hole in it which resembled a mouse chewing through it and was surrounded by a metal cage for any guests wishing to act out the role of the film IT, our room was probably best described as Joseph Fritzl's dungeon.. avoid!

I didn't realise initially that I booked shared bathroom so that was unfortunate, but it was my fault - although there was only 1 toilet and 1 shower between 7 rooms I believe. We entered the room and it stunk of damp immediately. The room was disgusting and there was dirt all over the bed and pillows somehow. I actually don't think it's safe for your health to stay there. We promptly left and requested a refund on Hotels.com, and luckily we managed to find a spot at a nearby Premier Inn that was only £15 more expensive. The journey upstairs to the room was filthy and seemingly hadn't been cleaned or hoovered in years, and this alone could've led to a bad review as the general cleanliness was terrible. However, this was entirely overshadowed by the state of the room which is by far the worst room I've ever seen. I am still in shock that they even made the bed that morning and thought "this room is entirely acceptable for a paying customer". Totally disgusting, avoid.

Although the hotel was cheap and the staff were friendly, there were lots of issues with this hotel and we would not have stayed if we needed the room for anything else other than to sleep. Both the room and the en suite were filthy and smelled very unpleasant. The bathroom was extremely damp, the flush on the toilet was broken and the smell was horrendous. There was loud noises all night from televisions in other rooms, the walls were so thing we could hear snoring from next door. You get what you pay for but I wouldn't stay here unless you were desperate!

Checked in after 1:00am got 4 weeks left till i give birth bed was really hard and had to leave

The service was quite unfriendly - we arrived well within the specified check-in time, only to be told that it finished an hour earlier. We told the man that the website said the specified time, and he said “actually, no it doesn’t” in a stern tone. There was no way we could have known this, as we planned our trip and arrived according to the hotels.com and Boundary Hotel guidelines. The man at reception was also displeased about the fact we had entered the hotel in the first place - someone had held the door for us on the way in. His demeanour threw me off quite a lot and made me and my partner feel unwelcome. There was also a large hole in the hotel room door.

Good location and my room was clean and tidy. But the general condition of this hotel is run down and shabby. The communal shower was mouldy under the silicon.

One of the most poorest places I have ever stayed. The room was extremely unclean, the door handle was loose, and I felt extremely unsafe. The room I was given was so neglected that it still makes me upset thinking about it. To call it a hell hole would be a understatement. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

Cheap and cheerful with shared facilities which wasnt ideal but booked late. Room very quiet and all managed 11 hours sleep after busy few days

A good hotel with a comfortable bed and excellent breakfast for a stopover on a long drive. The hotel location is excellent, and within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, and a nice park.

I love this Hotel > the staff, the location in beautiful Headingley, roght next door to the Rugby/ Cricket ground. Lots of Shops near by, easy access to Leeds city centre. The room had everything I need. TV with a good range of channels , hot shower, and I recommend you book tge breakfast.. all good .. Paul
