I paid for a double room including breakfast, but the hotels kitchen, dining room and bar/lounge were being refurbished, so nothing available. This was disappointing so Expedia obviously had not reviewed this property.

The toilet/shower and sink were too small ,I would recommend a slimmer wash basin . The toilet seat was not fitted properly. The room door lock is fitted incorrectly. The door can be pushed open from the corridor without touching the handles . Room was small but adequate, it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The staff were friendly, but the rooms were very poor and in need of updating. The cleanliness was poor in the rooms. The lounge bar is closed and no longer owned by the hotel. This is not stated in the website

Really busy and the gentleman working on the reception not very helpful at all.

It was very shabby and there was no food facilities the room was not clean and couldn’t sleep in the bed as it looked like it hadn’t been changed I have never stopped there before and would never stop there again

Very welcoming on arrival. Room No 6 was vey clean and tidy. Unfortunately no bar or breakfast available as had been advertised. Only stayed one night but would definitely stay again if I had the same room.

Bathroom was a little small, the bedroom was very adequate and comfortable. Great location for all amenities.

I put no blame on Langtry Hotel for my stay being spoiled as the manager done all he could to be helpful. Hotels.com are responsible for failing to check what they advertised for this accommodation I paid for a stay in a hotel that was supposed to have breakfast available if required and use of bar facilities, this had neither and I am very angry with hotels,com for not providing the correct information on what my hotel offered ! I wish to make a formal complaint to hotels.com

I think the hotel was ok for the money however shower was not hot enough and cold at times..parking is limited. So if you park there dont move your car .tea and cofee and milk could of done with a bit more ..but overall was a nice room

Room was nice and big and clean with comfy single beds. Bathroom was small and hard to move around in and toilet seat was worn and if staying Friday and saturday night you can hear loud music from nearby clubs so bring some earplugs but otherwise I enjoyed my stay here.

Very disappointed, cobwebs around window wallpaper all scuffed and badly damaged, skirting by bed full of dust, shower room all mish-mash and shower leaking no mat was supplied bad health and safety could of slipped on wet floor had to use a towel to soak up water. Corridor was not inviting very bad uneven floors and decorating very bad. Would not recommend nor stay there again.

Convenient location for me with large room. Ensuite a bit small for me and it would have been handy to have a remote for the TV

Would like to stay again in future as it was so easy to find and easy for walking to beach and other activities, not bad on price as well.

This hotel is passable as a 2 Star Rating as it was no thrills and very basic with the room being small with a small tv, the en-suite was very small with no cold water only lukewarm or hot running water in the sink and shower! Only stayed one night thankfully, the hotel also state in there information that they serve breakfast but on arrival I was informed there was no breakfast served when I asked!

Nice building, nice staff. The only negative thing was a minor niggle. The person in the next room came back late and every time he moved around the floorboards in my room made a loud noise. I wouldn't normally mind but it was in the early hours and was very annoying.

Awful stay. Springs in mattress broken. Blood, hair and toothpaste on bathroom walls and no water pressure in shower no more than a dribble in.

Very nice welcome from the staff, staff assisted with helping with my case up to my room. Easy access to rooms via a lift. Shower not very good as not very much water pressure. Room very big and spacious. Very comfortable bed I very slept well. Shame there wasn't any breakfast served. But overall a very good one night stay, thank you

It’s an old and not so maintained hotel, wasn’t what i saw online. Pictures online looks clean and new and luxurious, but met the opposite when I got there

Nice and fuss free check-in and check-out. The hotel is a stones throw from the sea front and has free parking (always a bonus) and there are plenty of amenities close by. The room was of a good standard and matched the reasonable price that it cost. There is plenty of nightlife and a great seaside pier, and whilst you can hear a lot of the activity that goes on outside, I personally did not find it a problem at all, if anything it was the seagulls who made the most noise. The only minor issue I encountered in the room was that I would have liked a more fast flowing shower, but it was not a huge issue and the water was nice and warm. I would definitely return to this hotel if I re-visit the area.

Bathroom was tiny. Sink right in front of toilet, so banged head trying to use toilet paper. Evening staff grumpy. Breakfast amazing excellent for the price with bubbly friendly service from Alison who was very smily and helpful.

Hotel in great location , good bedding and comfortable bed , bathroom small but functional

The staff are very friendly the breakfast was enjoyable and Alison the cook made us feel very welcome. Will come back
