This place is a gem!! Mere steps from the ocean. Door between bedroom/bathroom and living area—perfect for daughter to sleep on her own space. Very efficient use of space. Highly recommended!!

All around good experience. Hotel rooms are dated and some of the furniture needs to be replaced but bed was very comfortable and staff was nice.
Of course the view and the beach right outside your door really seals the deal.

October beach stay. We had the ocean front 2nd floor with the balcony. Perfect for the sunrise and enjoyable evenings with the sound of the ocean. Shower stall was tight for my 6’1” frame.

In a review of our check in experience I noted the lack of an outlet on one side of the bed. While we were out that day an extension cord was installed. That is what I call service. I was impressed.

Great hotel north of the Old Orchard Beach pier. Nice staff. Loved the balconies. Light breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Clean. Will return next year when we visit New England again.

The room was nice and clean, but the shower was small and the toilet was to low. The pillows were way to soft. The driveway to go in and around the building was very narrow. The pool was great and being on the beach was great! The location was good to be downtown in a couple minutes.

Everything was fine except for the crumbs of food on the mattress for the pullout sofa. Also, there was a Keurig Coffee maker but no coffee pods, sugar or cream.

Great location on the beach but the accommodations are dated. It was clean and comfortable but a typical motel on or near the beach. Great for family and easy access to the beach.

This is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in Old Orchard Beach. Our room was immaculate, as were the grounds and pool. Our view was incredible. We had a pool and ocean view from our balcony, and we could walk to the beach. Absolutely will stay again!

We had problems not having hot water and the administration took care of us quickly and an incredible solution. We have a fantastic stay. We'd return without doubt.

Great location. Lovely walking trails and forested space Nextdoor. Swimming pool unavailable unbeknownst to us. Swimming pool AND hot tub were a major factor in selecting this facility. Very disappointing.

Love this place. The only thing that is not great is the lack of accessible electrical outlets. Always super clean, friendly employees and the access to the beach is phenomenal.

Not a bad place for the $ ... Nice rooms with sliding glass doors to outdoor sitting area / pool. Nice pool and grassy area just feet from the beach.
I don't like that they charged me $15 for a parking pass for a guest when they have plenty of parking across the street in their over flow lot.

We had bad weather 4 days out of the 7 days we stayed at the Friendship.
That wasn't the resort's fault!
Otherwise, our stay was OK. Staff was good and friendly .
However, rates were way too high especially for us Canadians with our `$ exchange rate...

This hotel is a total win. I've never seen such a clean room in my entire life. The staff here is friendly and helpful. The property itself is beautiful and right on the beach. The pool was open, clean and inviting. This hotel is also quiet while we were there and that was so much quieter than staying closer to the Pier in Old Orchard. This hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the Pier.

Housekeeping threw out our bag of dirty clothes, which was luckily recovered. They made the bed by laying the bedspread on top of the bed untucked and sloppy. When we made suggestions to the manager about improving the staff, she was disinterested, rolling her eyes and focusing on her phone.

This hotel was away from the bustling activity of downtown Old Orchard Beach but close enough to walk to everything. It was quiet and had a beautiful grassy area and beach. The pool water was warm. Every employee I talked to was so helpful and courteous. I would love to return soon.
