We stay in the Beach House cottage while we were in town for the Chiefs game and really enjoyed the charm and hospitality at Silver Heart Inn & Cottages. Breakfast was served at 8:30 each morning and both days the food was absolutely delectable. Unfortunately it was a bit too cold for the hot tub, with wind chills around -25, so we plan to go back again in the spring or fall to enjoy all their outdoor offerings. I highly recommend giving them a try, you won’t regret it!

Being that it is in a residential area it was a bit noisy but overall it was like something right out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Charles and Amy were wonderful and breakfast was excellent. We would definitely recommend this place. Hope to visit again.

We stayed in the beach cottage that was separate from the main inn. The cottage appeared to have been recently updated. We enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub conveniently located just outside the back door. The cottage was clean and well stocked with all the amenities you'd expect. Hosts were nice, friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to our next stay. Highly recommended!!

What a lovely surprise to find this charming historic property in the heart of Independence, MO. Hosts Amy & Charles with daughter Frankie are operating this warm and welcoming inn with every creature comfort for a comfortable, cozy stay. The cabin accommodation was perfect. Extra comfortable bed, laundry, fully functional, well appointed kitchen, full bath with amenities. We enjoyed access to the hottub and use of the fire pit, both perfect for the lovely fall evenings of our stay. The breakfasts were delicious based around locally sourced ingredients, thoughtfully prepared and served with locally roasted coffee. The inn has easy access to conveniences and thoroughfares to the city. Amy & Charles are gracious hosts that clearly have a love of their inn, preserving the history, and sharing their graciousness, Will definitely return to this lovely inn.

This Inn was very cute! The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Water pressure wasn’t great, but otherwise wonderful experience with our stay. The breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be back!

The host was really nice, I loved the historical nature of the B&B. The jacuzzi was lovely. Our room was small but cozy and well-decorated. Overall it was a really great stay.

Clean Charming Comfortable

Amy and Charles are wonderful host. The only thing I could recommend is to upgrade the toilet to an elongated comfort height. The overall experience was great, the place is historic and charming.

The staff was very friendly. We've never stayed at a bed and breakfast. I love sitting around talking to people from other areas and sharing a meal with poeple i normally wouldn't.

The property owner & location are what made our stay FANTASTIC! You couldn’t get a better location for Arrowhead Stadium. Great casinos nearby as well. Our cottage was cozy & quaint. Window unit a/c didn’t get the air to the bedroom but waking up sweaty was absolutely worth the other conveniences!

Was very inviting, was met at the door to be checked in. Was given a tour of the home and room. Owners went out of their way to help my daughter with her banged up knee. Food and service was excellent. First time at a B&B. Will definitely visit again.

This property was nothing like it was advertised to be. It was in an area that did not appear to be very safe there was nothing within walking distance and the property itself looked somewhat rundown. I address this with Expedia and they were not very helpful I do not feel

If you want an owner who cares about the property, the food and the experience, this is the place for you.

The house was beautiful. The grounds were Exquisite. It is right on the edge of a commercial District so there are plenty of places to eat or go shopping within 5 MI. The staff was pleasant and friendly and willing to help in any way.

The B&B is very quaint. Comfortable bed! They got you anything you needed. Food was delicious. Hot tub was great. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
