Quick trip and this was great place to stop overnight

i wish the hot tub was working if i had known i would have stayed at another hotel

Great place to stay and the staff is great!

The hotel was quiet and relaxing, as was the area surrounding.

It was very clean. People at the front desk were nice. Overall it was good. As we were eating breakfast we could hear the staff in the back complaining and cussing so that was a turn off. Beds were not very comfortable but overall no major complaints

We were coming from New York and we were using a GPS to find the hotel. It kept taking us to a dead end so we drove all around the area looking and finally had to stop at a gas station who told us it's by the dead end, you need to go through a driveway to detour it. There was no sign to take a detour to reach the hotel! We were dead tired from traveling from New york and finally got there at 3:15 but was told check in is 4:00 and the room was not ready. We mentioned no sign and the girl (Jennifer) who kept eating a snack out of a bag who just shrugged it off saying the sign must have fallen down. (There was no sign when we looked later.) My husband just wanted to put his head down and they just kept saying just another 10 minutes. At 5:15 we got our room. Short of housekeepers we were told. The fitness room was closed. This property and staff were just not up to the standards of your other properties we stayed at. In the end, the manager knocked off $25.00, but money doesn't buy everything! Some if it was beyond their control and most of it was not.

It was just okay. Actually being a Hilton property at the price point it was I was disappointed. Gym broken, ice machine on our fooor broken, pool closed most of the trip, and only 1 person on staff at a time could not keep up with cleaning and demands of the guests by themselves. Breakfast was excellent though

Easy drive to Lake Michigan

We have been staying at Hampton Inn all over the country. But this one was not up to the normal standard for Hampton Inn. The big problem was the insolation of the flooring. The noise of the room above us was constant. We woke up around 5:00am each day due to the constant noise. The second problem was the breakfast: The orange juice taste awful; The fruits in the platter must be spoiled as it had really bad odor; The yogurt was warm, I don't know how long they had been left out of the refrigerator. We won't go back for sure.

Room was clean. Staff was courteous. Hotel was in good condition. Great breakfast!

Bathroom caulking needs redo. Bathroom sink faucet loose. Desk lamp broken and taped by someone. Mattress starting to break down.

Nice location, very pleasant stay

Located right off interstate. Traveling to northern Michigan.

We booked two rooms for three nights. On the first night, there were people running up and down the hallway, banging on each other’s doors and hollering until almost 3:00 am. The second night went well. On the third night, the guest next two me had a large dog - with a large dog bark - that barked off and on through the night. The dog began barking at 6 am and barked continually….well is still barking at almost 7 am. I had intended to sleep well before our drive home today.

Very nice room, big and comfortable. More than plenty of room in bathroom. Very clean. Breakfast was tasty, plenty of choices. Dining area spacious.

The property was clean, breakfast area was nice, and staff was friendly.

Clean rooms,comfy beds and the breakfast was ok only real complaint is the front desk lady was rude and most of the ice makers not working during our 3 night stay

Overall a nice hotel, clean and comfortable bed, awesome bathroom. Breakfast had interesting options. Negatives: Rude desk lady who was irritated & short after smoke break, hot tub looked like it's permanently closed now

We appreciated being able to travel and stay with our dog. Nice hotel!

The lady at the front desk was rather snotty. At first I thought it was just me but then several other people in Our group who were staying at the hotel mentioned it as well. she may have been busy or stressed but she did have an attitude

Property was clean, well kept, staff was helpful. Additional signage, and lighting upon property entry could be greatly improved. A pleasant visit overall.

Checking in the lady was rude. Acted like she didn’t want to be bothered. Once checked in we got to the room and the floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped or vacuumed. The walls had hand prints and smudges from previous guests. We quickly changed at hit the pool. The pool was freezing and there was only 2 tables and maybe 4 chairs so we were on the floor and out stuff got soaked from the pool water. There was no hot tub anymore It had been covered up by a piece of board. Breakfast was warm and well stocked but some tasted old and the orange juice tasted minty and the apple juice tasted like watered down with extra sugar.

Solid hotel with good features but several came up short. Breakfast items were lacking flavor and set up was flawed, missing shampoo in my room, elevator buttons difficult to operate, just to name a few.

It was an excellent property. Very clean and happy place to stay

I love staying at the Hampton! The best place, and quiet, lovely furnishings, clean...

We came in after hours for a late check-in. Everything was very good rooms were spacious wonderful, clean thanks.
