Nice place ! Very quiet !

Enjoyed the historical Honeymoon house. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb.

We enjoyed a lovely time at the Gold Rush Hotel soaking up the well-preserved history there. Beautifully decorated with many old photographs to peruse, it truly felt like we were stepping back in time while staying in a sweet little cottage at the back of the property. There are many stairs to navigate while carrying luggage so call ahead with questions if you have mobility issues. The interior was gorgeous and spotless. The A/C worked very well and we had a nice, clean bathroom. We enjoyed the privacy of sitting on our own porch both at dusk while listening to the sound of crickets and at sunrise with a cup of coffee. If walking Main Street with quaint shops, cute cafes and a very old cemetery at the edge of town is your vibe, don’t miss the history & charm of The Gold Rush Hotel.

very cute and well maintained B & B. Very close to lots of restaurants. Very quiet at night almost too quiet! Very authentic furniture and decor. Breakfast is wonderful!

One of the best hotsl stays we have ever experienced, mainly due to the excellent customer service. The room we stayed in was a little small and cramped for us, so the staff allowed us to switch to a slightly bigger room. In that room, our air conditioner worked, but didnt get as cool as we wanted it, so the staff went out of their way to make sure it cooled down for us. They immediately changed out the air filter and brought us a fan. It was just such a great experience because they took such good care of us !

Super cute hotel. Amazingly retained so many original features making it very quirky. Don't expect high end luxury, rooms are tiny but that just adds to the charm. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is fabulous, fresh and filling. Beware though everything in the town is closed by 8pm, including bars and restaurants.

The service was outstanding, the breakfast delicious, and our stay enjoyable. The location was serene and pleasant; however, the room was notably cramped. We like to do our morning exercises, but there was hardly enough room to move around. Including the room's dimensions in the pictures would be beneficial, as it would allow us to assess if it fits our needs.

Parking is very challenging during the day time. Thry have great breakfast!

We lovel everything about our imprompty stay. The evening social hour with board games was fun. Amazing breakfast. And the downtown Julian location was amazing.

We had a nice experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, location outstanding. No on site parking, particularly on weekends can be a stressor. Rooms are exceedingly small, so plan accordingly.

Lovely historic hotel about an hour's drive from Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Comfortable, clean room. Delicious homemade breakfast with fresh-squeezed orange juice and coffee.

The Julian Hotel is our favorite. The old-time charm, the staff and the breakfast are all wonderful. The hotels location is prefect for exploring the town. We love staying in Julian.

Historic Hotel, period but rooms are spartan. Like a step back in history. Very enjoyable.

Nice Victorian era hotel with a rich history and VERY weak Wifi. Don’t plan on getting a lot done on a laptop. We stayed in room 11. Maybe other rooms had a stronger signal.
