Our booking was not reflected in their system - maybe because of same day booking. Did cause some hassle during check-in. The room was basic, but ok. No proper hot water in the shower and the toilet did not flush. Breakfast was basic but acceptable (no meat; bacon, sausages, cold cut, etc. Neither no cheese). Staff were very friendly. The location is good - spot on the beach.

Our stay at Ziwa Beach Resort was amazing! We had the room with a view to the ocean and the pool on the top floor and it was definitely worth it! The room was beautiful with wooden furniture. It was also kept very clean. Overall very comfortable room with a warm shower too. The pool area and the restaurant of the resort was a great place to hang out. The pool is pretty and clean. The restaurant only served vegetarian food, which was the best! They had local and international dishes and all were tasty and clean. The breakfast was also delicious. The garden at the resort was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. The place was not very busy when we visited so it was a great place to relax in peace an quiet. Also the beach next to the resort is awesome.

Friendly staff, lovely room, and easy access to the beach. Food in restaurant was also delicious. Only minor issues were that the shower wasn’t powerful and the pool lost sunshine at 1pm

We stayed at Ziwa Beach Resort for 8 days. There was problems with the wifi, no hot water and power outage for 3 to 4 days of our stay. I complained about this but Ziwa was not accommodating. No offer of a partial refund when we had no power or offering free nights. The price per night was decent but with no phone in the room, I had to walk to the front desk to complain

Phones went unanswered, reception is unmanned half the time. On arrival no water in taps and toilet and same story through our stay had to keep chasing staff to refill tank. Relaxing place with unique atmosphere

Cottage is located 100m from the beach, swimming pool is nice. Breakfast is served front lf the sea. Cottage is clean, nicely decorated. All cottages have a large terrasse with outdoor kitchen and outdoor living room. (1 terrasse for 2cottages). We have been lucky, we didn't have any neighbors so we got the whole terrassefor ourselves. Buying food and cooking there is a huge money saver. The restaurant of hotel is veggie. No meat, no chicken. Be aware of that. Breakfast is nice but simple and veggie too (omelette, sweet potatoes,veggie, cereales, fruits, toasts). Note that We stayed 10 days and we got bored of eating the same thing every morning. Nearest shopping center is Naivas Nyali (2$ and 10min with uber tuktuk). Great Haller Park (forest and wildlife) is 1$ / 5min by uber tuktuk A lot of restaurants and bars along the beach. Also alongside jetskis / boats ... The staff is nice and helpful. Bed is confortable. The water is the shower is salty ! There a lot of mosquitos and they are very hungry. Bring citronella or spray or ... Bed has a net.. This was the best deal i found in Mombasa for this period.

it was a great space, the balcony was just amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaning of the place was okay, I think they can do better. The pool is awesome, a lovely breezy walk to the beach.. the food was just splendid, hands down. I didn’t know beforehand that’s it’s vegetarian but I definitely enjoyed all their food. I would definitely go back.

It was very affordable. Nice amenities and vegetarian breakfast. Nice condition room and clean. Wifi consistent. Right on the beach. The only thing was construction so no kitchen. But indiana Hotel has a kitchen. BURGER DISAPPOINTMENTS so dont try that if you go.

If and why the Electrically Stuff dies that fast is not really among them, but probably wrongly choosen!? To chase the Poolboy and hire an -unexperiencend- Constructor, was definately a wrong Decission! The Pool is nowadays Overtreated (the Guy don't know what he is doing!), Sand on Floor, burning Eyes, scratching Skin (..). PLEASE, hire someone experienced /train this Construction-Guy (it's mot an big Issue!)!

Unfortunately Electrical Items dying fast in those Environment; our (now bigger) Fridge was nearly finished after just a couple of Day's. The Pool nowadays is only "cleaned" (not really..) on the Surface, nobody remove the Sand from the Bottom and the Overdose of Chemicals cause burning Eyes and scretching Skin. PLEASE! Look after the old Poolboy, OR train the new /untrained one.. =there is NOT any Magic behind (..), just Knowledge kidogo!

Absolutely disasterous. Far away from reception. No power in shower. Found a centipede on the floor day 1. Intermittent internet.no tea or coffee making facilities. I had a kettle and the plug was two pin continental. Yet all sockets are three pin like UK. Lucky I had an adapter. There is no restaurant or cafe.access to beach was ok but dirty beach. Too many beach boys. There was no cooking facilities in case you wished to do so.....there was no cups and glasses either. I had to buy milk and coffee for myself. Location was ok. Staff were wonderful but would like to see the owner spend two days there without these facilities. I spent two days and left for a 5 star comfort for the remaining 7 days.

The property is located on the beach and the patio is very large and nice and offer a great few of the beach and water

From western standards it was I little dated but what it lacked the people and position made up for it.

The staff is very friendly, the place is calm, the location is surrounded by good restaurants and shopping facilities.

It was unforgettable experience
