I really started to have wonderful things to say about the place but this morning I have reconsidered most of them. The staff is possibly the rudest most inconsiderate I’ve ever encountered. Before 8 am several started slamming doors and yelling to one another across the hall. The terrible part? I am the only guest on this floor. There was no reason for it. Rude, inconsiderate TRASH. No wonder they have to clean rooms on a hotel, who else would hire that?

I travel a lot and so far My Place is my favorite. There are several extended stay hotels that have more amenties but leave a bad feeling when you look at their guests. I have left hotels that have guests like that. My Place has great little kitchenettes, comfy beds, spacious bathrooms and cable TV. It’s not fancy and there’s no hot breakfast but I’ve never felt unsafe and my kitty-cat (travels everywhere with me) is comfortable here… and she is the real judge of where we stay!

Just a quick overnight stay. Room and bathroom were very clean. While other hotels were asking $180 to $300, this place was just $136. Can’t believe what these places ask just to sleep in a bed and take a shower. My Place was in a clean and safe area. Would recommend if you like saving money and still want to stay in a clean, safe hotel.

I always stay at MyPlace whenever I'm in KC, or Overland Park, Ks. Very consistent quality, comfort, cleanliness.
However, this particular visit the facility was full, and I was lucky enough to have a family of Clydesdales above me that didn't stop the ruckus until the wee hours of the morning...even after management paid them a visit. I checked out earlier than planned. But I really do appreciate the staff's effort to make it better!!

Just an overnight stay for the Royals/Cubs game but it was a short distance via Uber to the ballpark. Quiet area.

Quiet comfy beds staff was great. Just need to fix things (side door card reader dis not work so prop door open if you were coming right back or walk around to front in heat.) Ele tric did not work right in one room had to change rooms

The room smelled like urine and smoke. Garbage disposal did not work and bathtub would not drain and the sink lock was broke so you had to lift up the block in the sink by hand in order for it to drain. I usually love MyPlace hotels but this was probably the worse conditioned one I’ve been too.

The reviews on the website have to be fake. It’s def not an 8.2 out of 10. I would give it a 3 out of 10. Trash was left in garbage from previous occupants. Shower was dirty had to clean out before using and the shower wouldn’t drain so you basically had to take a shower with filled water in the tub that drained very slowly. Has a stove and nothing to cook in. I went downstairs to ask for some plastic forks and got the strangest look like I asked for a kidney or something. Whole place gave a creepy vibe. I couldn’t even sleep. Probably the worst hotel I stayed at during my whole trip. Hopefully people will be able to find the real reviews and run away fast from this place lol

The hotel had no working elevator yet still was renting out rooms. No assistance offered either. We had to lug some very heavy luggage up the stairs.

Good place to stay. Spent about a week. Elevator broke down half way through my stay and wasn’t able to be fixed before I left. WiFi signal went in and put towards the end of my stay, but staff was courteous, kind and responsive to any issues that could control. I would stay again.

Overall, it was a good stay. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. The elevator was out of order our whole stay and there was mildew and bad mud work on the ceiling in the shower. For the price we’d stay again.

Smelled musty and a bit like urine when first coming into room but got used to it quickly. Bed and sheets smelled fine and clean. Saw ants in the room, but only a few. When I first came in to check in, anorher woman was at the front desk having found a beetle in her room. Bed was very stiff and not comfortable. Not so unpleasant that it was a bad stay, but not ideal.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The Staff was nice checking in and out.the room was pretty clean with the exception being the carpet could have vacuumed a little better or giving it a deep shampooing the carpet.

I had a hard time falling asleep because the fridge in the room was so loud. it was louder than the A/C that was running. I don't mind a little buzzing or humming noise but this was too loud that I couldn't fall asleep.
