Clean, comfortable hotel.

Always a pleasure to visit the VIU, I stay here +5 times/year.

We stayed for 3 nights but in two trips as we left in between to visit Lake Garda, also a big hit. The staff was super helpful in ensuring everything was taken care of and that our stay was as good as possible. There was some construction across the street so nothing you can do about it, we didn't find it very loud during our nights. The rooftop pool is really special and the amenities and spa are top notch. You wont' find a much better hotel, in as solid a location (don't let Chinatown scare you off) for these price points in this city.

Outstanding hotel with cool design and beautiful rooms. Would definitely come back. Only oddity is that they don’t have conditioner in the rooms…surely they need to address that.

The room was flooded. We asked for ateat a.rebate for the inconvenient night as we had to parch the leaking window with our bathroom towels.....

Wonderful place to stay. The staff is beyond courteous, helpful, friendly and accommodating. Anything you need to ask, they will help. Restaurant was delightful. There were multiple dining options that were walkable from the property and if not, staff would call a cab for you that would immediately pull up. Room was clean and modern. Had a lovely view of downtown. Can’t say enough about the people that work there. They made sure you were cared for at all times.

Really nice hotel, nice rooms, great design. But location is a little too far for convenience when visiting Milan. Area around hotel isn’t bad, but it is a little far from the city center.

The housekeeping was very good at their Job, but they only came if you ordered them. The staff was nice, always friendly and professional. The room was absolutely clean and the bed was comfortable. Only the location was a minus - our room was at the first floor, right next to an park where teenagers met to drink and party.

Amazing stay, which we enjoyed. Area around the hotel is so-so, as you are at the edge of Chinatown, but we still felt very safe nonetheless. Staff was always present and helpful. Food and bar was good and the room was both spaceous and comfortable.

Wonderful 5-star hotel, super service focussed staff, very nice rooms, well equipped, and the restaurant serves an original menu. The fitness room might need a make-over? Lat but not least: the city of Milan should consider to renew all tram carriages (nrs 12 and 14 heading for ‘Duomo’)

Excellent hotel with all you can ask for in a Luxury Boutique Hotel l. The staff was amazing especially David at the front desk was so helpful and kind. Ana at the Concierge’s desk was very knowledgeable and helpful . My wife and I were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary and it was one of our best trips ever! Thank you VIU Hotel for a wonderful experience in Milan!

Initial photo of the pool is misleading as it can only be used in summer months. Rooftop bar was very nice, but closed for an event for the evening meaning we could not make use of this for our limited stay. Limited facilities in spa area, all thought this was well kept and clean.

We wanted to stay close to the center of Milan and this place caught our eye. Reasonably priced and very nicely finished. Unless you have to be right in the center of the action, this is a great option.

The staff could not do enough for us and we’re always available. The hotel we could not recommend more and would happily stay there again.

The property itself was excellent. The staff at the desk were very professional, but failed to efficiently handle a simple request. The gentlemen outside were phenomenal. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and well taken care of. The concierge during the day shift was great as well

A beautiful stay! Really helpful staff, finding us the best restaurants to go to. Gorgeous rooftop pool, bar and spa. Really good gym too. Bathroom was gorgeous, and the breakfast was so nice.

Super stylish and super comfortable, loved almost everything about this hotel except for the slightly too expensive breakfast options - 40 euros pp at booking and 45 on-site is way too much especially given the standard quality and limited selection. The rooftop pool was amazing on a hot day although I wish there were separate times set aside for families as it’s dominated at certain times by children which really ruins the experience and made it uncomfortable. Also appreciated the unattended spa area - sauna, steam room and ice shower which could be used till late. The staff were always polite and helpful at reception although service at the pool could have been slightly more attentive. Loved the Viu, it will be my go-to hotel every time I’m in Milan.

The views

The hotel is beautiful, with very modern and refined furnishings. It’s situated in Chinatown and not very far from a beautiful park and local historical landmarks. We enjoyed great walks while we were there and easily got Uber rides to pick us up and drop us off. Staff and service were great overall - there was only one incident, when our laundry wasn’t delivered express when we’d noted it in our request and then it was delivered about an hour later than the staff said it would be normally that evening. Outside of this, there were a lot of mosquitoes in our room the first night, but that may have been due to recent rain. Regardless, we kept the terrace closed so we didn’t have any more.

We loved the pool, bar, and music in the bar! The rooms were very clean. Staff friendly.

The property is beautiful especially the rooftop restaurant/pool area. The staff was spectacular and friendly. The area around the hotel is fine but alot of construction and graffiti on the buildings.

Hotel was great. Location is misleading very far from the centre.

I loved the hotel and the room's interior. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooftop swimming pool made my time in Milan more relaxing and mindful. The only thing that could be improved would be more vegan options on the menu and barista-style coffee.
