We were so happy with our choice of this property!! It was everything and more than we expected! The property and the staff went out of their way to help us in whatever we needed or asked! They were so helpful and kind. The area around was in a walking district with shopping and food places really close. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place with the nicest people in Havana. Good location and comfortable room. Will be back.

The first shock came at check-in, when we learned that our rooms did not come with en-suite bathrooms. I checked my booking, and only in the confirmation I got after I had made the booking it said communal bathroom - during the booking process this had not been mentioned. OK, the bathroom was reserved exclusively for us, but to get to it you had to cross the hosts‘ living-room, dining-room and kitchen, where most of the time some people were hanging about. Going to the bathroom was particularly unpleasant at night, as there was always some guy sleeping on the sofa right outside our rooms. Apparently they were there as some kind of night guards, but they did not seem to care very much, as we found the entrance door at ground level open twice after dark. This was particularly annoying as there were hundreds of people walking by until midnight at least. Nights were terribly noisy, which made sleeping extremely hard, so the vicinity to Plaza Vieja actually proved to be a disadvantage. Breakfast was pretty poor too. On our first morning they served fruit which was definitely left over from the day before, and the next morning there was no gas, which meant there was neither coffee nor eggs. The rooftop terrace could not be used for a whole day as the owners were working on making the roof waterproof, and last but not least they could neither assist us when we needed a place to have our flat tyre repaired, nor even when we asked them for the „right“ taxi fare to the airport!
