Last minute we reserved and arrived almost at midnight, it was good and efficient only the sofa bed was not ready dressed to use so that was my only bad thing about it!

The hotel is overall good. But the WiFi and Tv entertainment is appalling. WiFi keeps disconnecting after every 20-30 mins. TV has only 30 local channels and no satellite connection. The reception was empty when we arrived there. Waited for 15 mins before we decided to go into the restaurant and ask an employee to help us finding someone. Breakfast is only decent. Lots of variety but quality is average. Coffee is only available on self service machines, hence could not get a barista made coffee in the whole hotel. The pool area is good with the bar next to it providing good cocktails. The room on lower floors which was originally offered to us smells of pool water (chlorine I guess) but we were moved to 6th floor after being asked to, which was nice. House keeping is good, they ironed the requested clothes on time but they do not provide an iron for the room and instead you have to come down yourself and iron your clothes in their iron room. Inside bar staff is a bit rude and not bothered. Casino owned by the hotel is not a casino and is mom operative anyways. Close to all good restaurants and taxi stand and bus station, so very convenient. Overall, if I go bank to Bulgaria, I would not stay in the same hotel.

Fantastic staff, lovely quiet room, comfy bed and choice of hard or soft pillows. Good location, right near the bus station and walking distance to everything you need.

Clean property, attentive staff - it was much better than I had expected - comparable to what you would expect from BW in any major market. GM (Mr. Todorov) was kind enough to help me fetch some ice from the bar. I would definitely come back next time at Sunny Beach and stay at same property as it offers better value than comp peers

I enjoyed staying here very much. The receptionists were very helpful and all spoke beautiful English. My own room and the public areas were kept spotlessly clean. There was plenty of choice on the buffet meals. The hot was quiet at night. As a holiday hotel, I could not fault it. I would recommend it highly, especially for couples needing a relaxing chill-out!

Nice hotel. We had an executive room for two teenagers and two adults. We also had a loung area with a fridge in the room with chargeable snacks and drinks, although the prices were not extortionate.The aqua slides were a great pastime for the kids, but we still had a day out at the aqua park for good measure. The hotel itself is very clean, the public areas are clean, as are the rooms and pool. I purchased poolside drinks and refreshments all day long and we also had a few snacks, chips etc. Most went on the room and for the whole week, it only came to about 80 lev, which I thought was very good for premium bottled beers and G and Ts, ice creams for the kids etc. every day. Good value, considering its a hotel, but keep prices reasonable and you sell more. Basic business. We did bring our own crisps/nuts in, which is not allowed really, but I wasnt requested not to eat them, although I was discrete about it and not even sure they sold them. Some Russians werent though and decided to bring a full lunch picnic in and sit down at the tables. They were promptly told in not uncertain terms not to do that, with the threat of police and expulsion. Quite rightly so. Be warned.Kids loved the slides, although there is no lifeguard keeping an eye on when you can come down the slides, so make sure somebody comes out before you go down yourself. There is an attached casino, but i didnt go in there to gamble, but it looked quite nice.I would definitely return, RO.

Location to restaurants, activities, and shopping.

I booked two rooms for two nights. At check-in, I was notified by hotel staff that our room was damaged, so we would have to stay in another hotel for one night. The other hotel, Kalina Gardens was shabby, old, and smelly. I wasn't offered any kind of compensation other than free food and drinks (for which we still had to argue later). We were told to come back to Best Western the next day at 11:30am. Upon arrival, our hotel room still wasn't ready, so we waited in the lobby for the cleaning staff to finish until 12:30pm. Then, our room key didn't work (twice). You can't make this stuff up. The older gentleman, Haim, was pleasant and did his best to accomodate in a tough situation. The younger gentleman (I regret not getting his name) who I presume is some kind of manager, was rude, unapologetic, and insufferably obnoxious. You couldn't pay me to stay in this hotel again. Based on my experience, this hotel is incredibly poorly managed--as someone who travels extensively, I recommend you look elsewhere.
