Rooms are unique and the whole property was very clean

Really good private room within a very friendly hostel environment. Location was fine. All amenities were catered for including a modest breakfast. Spot on

Room 7 had a huge bed bug infestation. They were literally crawling everywhere on the floor and beds. They moved my room eventually and said they will give me a full refund, but I would stay well away from this place until the management can absolutely guarantee that this issue has been thorough dealt with!!!

Quick 1 night stay. Good check in experience, all round pleasant experience staying here. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, clean bathroom/toilet facilities. The free breakfast in the kitchen in the mornings was also a great little bonus. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The hostel closes at 11:00 pm. So if you come after that time you're not allowed to enter the hostel.

The bathrooms were splendid

Double room was very clean and comfortable. Building was out of the way and looked derelict which was offputting. But inside was relaxing and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful

Wish I’d had a longer layover to explore and utilize the offerings. Only reason for the 4/5 is more so for the unknown of who you’ll get bunked with. Not necessarily controllable from your own or the facilities end. Felt secure and safe and that they provided everything I needed for a short solo stay. Clean bed, towels and charging abilities for each individual bunk. The 1st floor bathroom was private but did feel like a college guys bathroom. Functional but I didn’t want to take a shower there. Lastly, the space itself and staff were lovely, follow the signs around the bend and you’re created with a well kept and cheery space.

Great stay overall. The staff were helpful and accommodating throughout. We stayed in the downstairs accessible room, which was very calm, open and relaxing. If I had minor critiques: the space could do with notices or enforcement of quieter times after key hours as lots of people stomping and yelling in halls before 7 and after 11, and in our actual room the red emergency cord didn't reach the bathroom floor. But I can't really fault much; my greatest reluctance in this review is that more people may come and stay and then I won't be able to book for it being full! 😂

Charming room with lots of nice touches made for a relaxing comfortable stay on a budget.

It was my first hostel experience and It was really great. The rooms were clean and well decorated, the common rooms were really clean and had an nice feel to it.

It is an incredible hostel/hotel. Extremely clean and so many interesting features.

The room was nice and the bed comfortable. It was however cold even for April, the heater did not appear to be working. There was a rattling noise coming from the ceiling which stopped when lights are on. A nice friendly hostel with family atmosphere. Would stay again

Needed somewhere to crash the night of work Christmas Party - was a really pleasant place to stay.

All very enjoyable. Only problem was the door to the dormitories was open (should have been locked for safety) and one person was having a conversation that echoed around the corridor. This stopped before 10pm but would’ve been better if they’d closed the door that should’ve been closed.

Booked a double room was really good for the value. I had read was slighty far out which was the only downside but if you're up for walking a bit it's fine!

Had a great Saturday night stay to attend a concert at Leeds arena . The hostel is just further down the road from the Hampton and quite easy to find when walking. Just cross over the road with the closed carpet shop on the corner and follow the road up. Was great value for money at £65. Very friendly staff who checked us in. Room was just like the photos and very clean and nice white towels and bedding. We only had some orange juice at breakfast as had a train to catch but there were plenty of cereals etc to help yourself. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Low budget hostel that ticked all the boxes for a weekend stay. Clean and tidy. Staff were very welcoming and recommended several places to visit during our stay.
