Staff and property were very good. Parking is a big issue. Not sure we would stay again as finding a parking spot was very difficult.

Breakfast is good. Location is excellent. Driving to the hotel was very difficult. Google maps could not do it. Parking was extremely difficult, although inexpensive.

Nice place for downtown location, friendly staff and helpful with directions etc. but would avoid staying in junior suite or ones with triple beds , apparently they only have disabled bathrooms that have no separator between shower and toilet as a result, wholwmdloor gets wet ! The hand held in the disabled bath came apart when trying to adjust and the shower soap gel pump dispenser did not work in room 1 . Had to take it out of the dispenser to use it . First time in ages that staying in a hotel , none of us took a bath , was even debating if we move to a different hotel but was already too late and after 10 pm . The breakfast is just ok and no fresh fruits like oranges or bananas. The rooms are carpeted and adds to stuffiness and damp smell. Now the good points - great location in center of town , walkable to cathedral and restaurants , decent parking nearby , do NOT use google maps or Apple Maps to find hotel , instead look for place de Quebec , that will lead to back of hotel and parking . Also park is free from 7pm to 9 am , we were a bit late in picking up car at 10:15 and got ticketed for $25 fine ! Consider it as donation to bayeux city council . Also friendly staff and helpful, they have great book collection in the small library behind , check it out . The photographs of the city during and after dday are memorable indeed. Great CENTRAL AC.

Hotel advertised having WiFi but it was not available from guest rooms. Cell reception is also nonexistent so communication was challenging. The room is so small the bathroom door can’t open all the way because it hits the bed. There is a single electrical outlet in the entire room. WiFi was sometimes available from the breakfast area, which serves a very mediocre overpriced breakfast buffet. The location is excellent but I would never stay at this property again.

Property advertised WiFi but it absolutely did not reach the rooms. Spotty WiFi available at times from the breakfast area. Cell phone service was also nearly nonexistent which made communication impossible during our stay. There was a single outlet in the room. The room is so small the bathroom door can’t open all the way because it hits the bed and we didn’t have space to open our carry on sized suitcases anywhere but on the bed. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is mediocre and very overpriced. Location is fantastic in Bruges and accessible to the many areas of Normandie. I will never stay here again.

Charming location in the heart of Bayeux! Walking distance to the Bayeux Tapestry and decorated with WWII memorabilia. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location - parking a bit tricky to find but once there, we loved the central location and spotless room. Picture is the view from our room.

The Churchill Hotel looks like it is from another era, but updates on the property show that it is being cared for with modern conveniences being added. The staff is willing to do anything to make your stay special and perfect. (Try coming in the middle of a festival with all kinds of streets closed, GPS not working, and someone coming with you to get you safely to a parking space!). Directions to whatever are never difficult for them and you are generally within easy walking distance to the major attractions of Bayeux and all the bus tours. The breakfast is perfect. We couldn't ask for more.

Stay was great. My wife & I stayed in a room with my son. Huge bed with a pull-out trundle. Very novice for the price.

We were taken advantage of! We booked and pre paid for a superior room and got a standard room, only about 3/4 of the size of the room we booked. The floor was uneven and almost caused a serious fall. The mattress was uncomfortable. The management said they did not have available a superior room, as booked, to give us and has been refusing to provide a refund for the difference in price!!! What a terrible state of affairs!!!

Recommended in Rick Steve's guide books so its a safe choice. Excellent location in center of Bayeux - short walk to museums and Notre Dame Cathedral. However, rooms don't have refrigerators nor is there an accessible ice machine without walking down to front desk. No elevator. Hot water seemed to not to be very hot after one of us showered first. During our stay, room wasn't made up the second day for some unknown reason. Street it faces doesn't allow cars so vehicle access is actually from the back entrance (Google maps doesn't get it right) Two better, although more expense hotels are very nearby. Not a bad choice, just not a great choice for a vacation in Normandy.

This property is centrally located and close to dining and shopping downtown. Staff was great with arranging dinner reservations for us.

Perfect location. In the middle of town surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. 100 feet from the D-Day tour pick up location for most tours. The room was nice, spacious and very clean. Breakfast was okay, very light.

Nice historical place for walking. No public transportation to other close areas

Room was very small. But Waking up to the aroma of freshly baked bread was heavenly.

This property was located in a perfect area. The staff was wonderful and made our stay very enjoyable. The lack of parking was a pain point for us since we were traveling with a rental car. The hotel also did not provide very many amenities in the room such as a coffee maker, shampoo, etc.

Great hotel and room! Staff was wonderful! Even the Normandy tour meeting spot we took was literally around the corner. If we visit again we will definitely stay here!

The property is centrally located. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable Matthias (sp) helped us to safely leave before the storm as trains were getting cancelled. If not for him , our trip would have been badly disrupted
