Basic budget apartment. Did the job for a 1 night stay in Lucerne. We were woken up early morning to loud construction/demolition equipment right outside the apartment. Parking nearby is ~$30 per night.

The appartment was clean, confortable and spacious.We enjoyed our stay here. It is located not far from the city. The only thing that was missing was an microwave.

They were prompt and response time was good

No AC, even with fan. the facility is hot. You have to open the window but insects/bugs gets inside and room smells smoke from outside.

The guy who helped and did the orientation was super nice and knowledgeable .

I think we were spoiled by the bookings in the smaller quiet towns during our trip. We didn't like the hustle and bustle of the location, except that it was close to our destination while we were there. It looked and felt like an old apartment complex, as the name of the listing did indicate. No offense, but we didn't connect with this place and it felt like a prison to us. If you want a place to stay that is around the hustle and bustle of central Lucerne, this would work, but if you're looking for charm and warmth during your stay, look elsewhere. The shower was missing a curtain so the water would splash all over the bathroom floor. Faucet handle in the bathroom was about to fall off. We had to pay for overnight parking about a 5 minute walk away from the apartment. Like I said, Galaxy Apartments can serve a purpose for your stay, but not what we were looking for.

Space was too small. They didn’t provide towels, only 4 hand towels. Very hot, no AC. You had to wash the dishes before leaving the apartment. No parking.

Host was very co operative and apartment room was nice.

This was by far the worst stay out of the trip. The unit was not only very clean, but we later discovered our unit was infested with ants. We initially discovered a few in the kitchen, and a staff member did come by with a chemical spray to kill them. Because it was in the kitchen area we were worried about the chemicals so we had the staff leave the sprayer so we could do it ourselves. Unfortunately, we didn't realize there was also an ants nest in the living room. So the two people sleeping on the sofa beds in the living room woke up to multiple ant bites. With further inspection, we discovered ants were actually EVERYWHERE even all over the beds. When we booked on Expedia the booking clearly indicated that it was a stay for 8 people, but when we got the receipt from the host it somehow indicated the price was only for 4 people. We tried to call the host to clarify that we had 8 people, we called many times and left multiple messages, but heard nothing back. They finally responded on the day of check in, where they asked for an extra Swiss Franc for the extra people and city tax. Overall, we had a terrible experience living here and would NOT recommend others to stay here unless you want to come out with ant bites and bad customer service.

Parking is difficult on the streets and garage nearby expensive. This should be better clarified on the advertisement. The towels in the bathroom were very small (~30cm x 60cm). Something to improve. Otherwise the apartment was clean and well located at a walking distance of old town Lucerne. We enjoyed our stay. The person whom we communicated was very responsive via WhatsApp.

laundary was not provided, however it shows laundary available on expedia. its misleading. Also shampoo was not provided, which is weird to me. the floor is not clean.

We were met and escorted to accommodation very quickly upon contact. Accommodation was clean and sufficient for our needs. Requests for assistance were fulfilled quickly. Location close to Old Town meant we could walk everywhere. Kitchen facilities allowed us to relax and eat in if desired. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend Galaxy to others.

Excellent value for money. Very near to city center. Check in process was so smooth and the representative was very courteous and explained about the rules and offered tips for the stay in the city. Overall a decent property. Should improve on cleanliness. Floors are little sticky.

The apartment is located near central Lucern, walking distance to Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument. Street parking is limited but there are a couple of public carpark close by. Staff is friendly and check in has been smooth. Good value for accommodation in central Lucern.

The only thing that was good about this place was the location. The smell was terrible, and something was wrong with the airflow - it felt damp and humid in the entire space. The shower was also so small, I could barely wash my hair.

Pros: The apartment is located very close to the central station and with a short walk you can reach many bus stops that takes you to the station in 5 mins. You have decent amount of kitchenware and utensils (if you are planning to cook). Cons: The bathroom is cramped up a bit and the shower drain was clogged that it takes quite some time to drain the water. The beds are 50-50. They are not super comfortable but they get the job done. Overall its a decent place to stay with family based on its current conditions but it could improve drastically if improvements were made in the bathroom and bed.

The location was very good , we were able to walk everywhere in Lucerne from here. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. It was a little small, but most European apartments are small, but the price was good

This apartment was spacious and close to public transportation. We could easily walk to old town and Lake Lucerne. The property needs a lot of upgrades such as dishwasher which the soap dispenser was broken, dining table needs to be replaced, no washer/dryer, better quality of pillows and the elevator was so small which could not accommodate three of us with luggage.

The room was clean and had all the necessities. The kitchen had silverware, plates, pots, pans, and an espresso machine. The bathroom was clean, and the tub was spacious. The bed was comfortable. However, the pull-out bed was uncomfortable and tilted to one side. Additionally, customer service was terrific. They even do your laundry. Overall, I loved my stay here.

Overall it got the job done and is one of the cheapest options in Lucerne for a large group so I can't really complain. That being said, one room smelled faintly of smoke, and the shower drained very slowly. Also, the check in process was a mess and we had to wait a long time in the hallway for the owner to bring the keys despite communicating our arrival time up front.

Cons: Was a little disappointed with the room. 1. Suppose to be smoking less room. And the room smelled as if it was smoked in for years. We asked about the smell, and was handed a bottle of air fresher. Even after leaving the window all Morning could remove the smell. 2. Kitchen light was broken. We told the attending and was told she was send someone to fix it next day, but no one came to fix before we checked out. 3. The hall ways of the building smells like mold or cat litter? Pros: The manager was quiet friendly and gave us good directions.

It is a very good apartment. Walkable location, easy access and communication with the owner. Parking nearby.

Garbage cans stinking by the front door. Hall light not working, making it dark and hard to see the door to unlock it. The elevator is barely large enough for 2 people to squeeze into. No pillow case; missing pan lid, bad internet, kitchen tiny and run down, barely enough kitchenware to make a meal. Run down, really barely acceptable. Would not recommend and would not return.

Close to everything. I am 70 so steep steps for 4 flights was more than I’d planned for. Had to ask for cups in the room. Overall close to train stations and reasonable amenities.

Host was excellent. There to greet us when we arrived and showed us everything. The apartment was a good size. Decor could do with a refresh maybe. The location was excellent. A stone’s throw from all the sites.

The appartment was spacious for 4 people kitchen worked but untensils were dirty and greasy. Had to ask for every little thing like dishwasher soap, bedsheet in one of the bedroom was soiled. The appartment was very cold at night. On the positive side the gentleman attending us was very cooperative and tended to our needs very promptly each time. The place was worth the price we paid, closer to most attractions, good restaurants and bakeries in walking distance. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

Although with the less-attractive curb appeal and the apartment entrance which looked a bit shabby, we thought that the interior of the hotel was better than we expected. It took us a while to identify where the entrance of the apartment located as the entrance of the apartment wasn’t clearly shown but fortunately the galaxy apartment staff that greeted us was helpful. As for the interior of the apartment, the sofa beds were comfortable enough and the utility in the room was generally okay. With huge windows and a huge balcony, the room was generally airy and bright.

Reception was kind, apartment was fully stocked (included utensils in the kitchen, tea, coffeemaker, etc); lots of supplemental material for finding parking, entertainment, grocery shopping.

The property was nice and clean and well maintained. The care takers were prompt, and contacted me on whatsapp to discuss the arrival time so they can be available. They were on point when I asked for additional towels and things and were quick to get it to us. It is well located closer to multiple grocery stores, 2 minutes walk to bus stop and 10 minutes walk to the main train station. I had to pay 35 CHF extra for a 3 year old kid per night which was a little absurd but then rules are rules. Other hotels and properties dont charge extra for kids under 12, specially there is nothing being done extra for kids (like no beddings, no breakfast) so I dont know what that extra cost was for. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, mugs, and stuff so it was easy for us to cook and eat some home made meals for us and the kid.

Conveniently located within walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants, train station, etc. Property management very friendly. They provided and explained visitor pass for buses and other discounts.
